“I stopped in for the first time today exploring the Newington area. What an absolute find! The place was immaculate completely well-stocked and I didn't see an American product in there at all. Owners are super friendly and prices are reasonable”

“Although it doesn't have the wider selection of bigger stores, ALDI is one of the cheapest local grocery stores and offers good quality for the price. I have been doing most of my weekly grocery shopping here through Instacart pickup (and occasional delivery) for the past 5 years. They have been consistently reliable, accurate, and professional with pickup orders, which makes shopping much easier for me as a disabled person. On the rare occasions I've shopped in store, the clerks have been fast and efficient. My only complaint is that the back entrance driveway from Kitts Lane has potholes you'll want to watch out for.”

“I am writing to thank April and Paul in the bakery department for all their help and hard work on December 31, 2023. I had placed and paid for an order approximately 2 weeks prior for 2 large trays of breakfast items for New Years Day. My plan was to just run in and pick the trays up. For whatever reason the order was never filled. April and Paul went to work immediately, as busy as they were, to fill the order very quickly for me. I appreciated they were able to do this since I was on a tight schedule with little time to spare. You both made it work. Again, thank you for all your help. Janet P”

“This past week I was trying to organize a lobster bake for the 4th of July down at the shore. Having called quite a few places it seemed Price Chopper had the best deal. My concern was that they would run out. I called and asked them if they would hold 20 lobsters for me. Initially on the first call they said they don’t hold lobsters however there should be plenty. I then hung up the phone and called back and asked them when a good time to come in and get said lobster would be. I was then told we could only get 6. Long story short there was a miscommunication amongst employees. However after speaking to the manger they promised me 20 since there was a misunderstanding. Long story short I got 20 lobsters and I can’t even begin to express my gratitude to Steve L. He went above and beyond to assist me. He was patient, friendly and so kind. He is an absolutely wonderful employee. Not only did he take the time to help with ice and packing but also helped me out to my car with the cooler full of lobsters. Steve L if you read this, I can not thank you enough for making my friends and families 4th of July celebration so amazing. You truly were the catalyst for making us all have such a special celebration and day.
