Very friendly knowledgeable staff. This was my 1st time getting progressive lenses. Christina was very helpful. She answered all my questions, taught me how they work and reassured me that if there were any issues, they'd be right there for me. Overall, they made feel very happy with my purchase. I will definitely be recommending to all my family and friends

I have had many progressive lenses made at the Newington branch. Great every time. I tried a well known chain and they couldn't get it right. I won't go anywhere else except Walmart now!

Always had a great experience since when I've gotten glasses there, to now when I get my yearly exam since getting lasik. Will be there again within the next month.

Very unprofessional behavior had an appointment for 2:30 waited till 3:30 and they said they have to reschedule as they doctor is busy they could have called and told me that not make me leave work and come and did not even have the curtesy to apologize they don’t even deserve one star

I went to Walmart in Newington, (first time ever using them for my optical care)I was helped by a man named Christopher who was super helpful! He took the time to call my insurance company to get things straightened out and then time to help me find a pair of glasses. With Covid, you're not allowed to bring anyone in with you for help in picking out a pair, but Christopher took the time to help! I'm super picky with glasses as I wear contacts & haven't had a pair of glasses in YEARS but we were able to pick out a pair I LOVED and withith a good price range! I walked out very satisfied and actually excited for my new glasses. ?

Not very professional, one lady was very loud and she just never stopped talking. When I made the appointment they asked for my insurance, to which I have vision insurance along with medical insurance, didn’t give me a definite whether or not they take my insurance then told me she would call me back after running my information then never did. Went to the appointment the eye doctor section was just a small hallway they tried to turn into a mini office/ waiting room, I thought to myself I should leave but I decided to give it a chance. The receptionist was nice but come to find out I was gonna have to basically pay for most of my visit there. Then the eye glass associate comes over to me just letting me know they were about to close on their side and asked me if I was really planning on purchasing something today so I said yes I planned on getting glasses. So at first he was saying all the days I could come back but then decided to have his coworker assist me on picking out glasses etc while I wait to see the eye doctor, but that ended quickly because they didn’t take my insurance so my frustration was really starting to grow because this all could’ve been avoided if they just let me know ahead of time whether or not they accepted my insurance and how that whole visit was going I wasn’t going to pay additional money buying glasses there. I tell them that this is really unprofessional how things are going but nobody really seemed to care. After my exam the doctor dilates my eyes so I have to go back in the hallway waiting room to wait for my eyes to fully dilate but now all the lights in this area were turned off , as though they didn’t still have a patient there, so the only light is coming from the doctors office and the eye glass area, while the receptionist and loud lady are just sitting there talking,While I’m sitting in very very dim lighting. Just all around not a good experience and I would not recommend going there for an eye exam.

Staff is extremely rude they never answer the phones and when they do they tell you to call back another day because they are unable to help you. They don’t even deserve one star!!!!

Receptionist is very very rude and snarkyI made the appointment a week in advance and on the day I went to my appointment was told they dint take my insurance but she expected me to keep my appointment and pay out of pocket. Unbelievable! Had she if done her job correctly she would if known they take VSP will never go back there worst place ever!

I had 2 great experiences! On my first visit, Jane was so patient with me while I tried on almost every pair in the store and even took a table to sort and narrow down my choices. Christina came over to offer helpful, kind, and honest feedback on the look of many pairs. And then Jane helped again to get my order in accurately, as I was purchasing 3 pairs of glasses. When I came back to pick them up and get them fitted, Kurt and Diane were awesome! It was close to closing time for them, and they stayed just as diligent, pleasant, and smiley as if they had just arrived. And I am a challenge to fit, with a crooked face and lopsided ears! But nothing changed their friendly demeanor. So happy I came here!:)

I went to the eye center inside Walmart on the berlin turnpike. I meant such a sweet lady who was very attentive to my needs. Jane took the time to find the correct glasses for me. She measured my eyes to make sure the glasses were a perfect fit. I was so impressed with her dedication and attention to details. What an awesome experience I had. I have been wearing glasses for the past 10 years and have never enjoyed getting glasses until now. I will look for Jane every year for that special treatment. GREAT job Jane!Sincerely,Carol L
