The customer service at the Newtown branch is outstanding. They have a real dedicated team that is always accommodating and friendly. Special thanks to Debbie and Chris for helping set up new bank accounts for my two teenagers with such patience and professionalism.

I am a loyal member of BoA and have to say, I stay banking with them for a reason. Their customer service is phenomenal, kind, and they are always going above and beyond. I can honestly give them 5 stars knowing well they will always have my best interest in mind. I also want to shout out their Banker staff at this specific location in Newtown, CT. I always leave my banking meetings knowing my money is in good hands.

Out of all the branches that I visit, BOA in Newton is by far my most favorite. The staff here are very helpful, kind, and polite. They go out of their way to help with my financial needs. I appreciate the staff here and I wish them more and more success.

Bank is horrific went in to open a new account with my wife after calling for days calling to set up an appointment but no one ever answered... walked in today to find the female manager on the phone on a personal call and had the audacity to make us wait until she was done no thanks walked right out and won't be doing my banking with boa thanks to her.

While not specific to this location, dealing with BOA has been terrible. They provided the loan for a vehicle purchased from a dealer. The paperwork which I needed to make my first payment arrived 10 days after the payment was due. I've been waiting for my online login code from them since this, so I can set up automatic payments, but SURPRISE it still isn't here and I have to call in and make my 2nd payment. It's like dealing with a loan shark who's nowhere to be found when it's time to pay, but wants to put points on your late payments. 42 thumbs down, do not recommend.

Website still says they are open until 4 but the lobby is not. Drive up window was closed at least 15 minutes early. That's when I got there. Could have been all day. Have to agree that it's very inconsistent with when this branch is open and you can't reach them by phone.

This location is inconsistently open. When it is they have one teller working while “suits” just walk around and wish you a good day. They have no concern for their customers, and I am sick and tired of their looking out for my health by closing the bank.

What a horrible place. Inconsistent staffing, unhelpful bankers, inconsiderate advice, dismissive, no appointments available but no one in any meetings. Predatory dishonesty, no wifi. Just some big hollow building that keeps your money from you at any cost.

this is the absolute worst bank in the friggin universe!!!!! i know we are worried about the corona virus - but people's bank is right next door and they are open for business. want to open a savings account - can't even make an appointment to go in - i have 3 accounts at this rotten bank - i have been with them for years - i have lived in newtown for 36 years and have used this bank since they opened - i am going to drop them - if you think for one god damn minute i will drive to another town to do business with my bank you are sadly mistaken!!!!! - no wonder they are closed - the people who work there are rude and suck!!!!! sorry, you are losing over 100k in savings - do you want to know how i really feel !!!!! a - holes

Poor quality customer service, Bonnie need more help learn how to help customers, also all because you dont have a account with their bank doesn't make it ok to brush people off and not answer their questions. The assistant Manager was helpful and Amy the head of the bank was amazing. Over all this bank needs some good customer service and lean how to treat people and how to assist them with their questions.. if I could I wouldn't even give this bank a star due to Bonnie.!

Sat at the drive-up this morning for 20 minutes after sending my deposit materials through the carrier. Pushed the "call teller" button several times. No response. Called the branch from car and was put on hold for 6.55 minutes. Gal asked "if I was in the correct drive-up lane," which I was. This branch never seems to have their act together. Wonder if it's profitable and who is responsible for the territory.
