Some people don't pick up their dogs poop. Not cool. And some dogs are too aggressive there. Also, not cool.

Permit required so it's not a good fit if you're passing through, as we were. That said, it looks very well maintained and clean. The adjacent wildlife refuge DOES allow leashed dogs and has lovely walking trails. You can reach it by continuing past the dog park on a narrow blacktop road to a small gravel parking area.
