Find another pharmacy. Walgreens is not concerned about protecting consumers. I bought a COVID test last week as a back up. Didn't need it, so the seal was never brolen. Manager refused to take it back. Apparently, there is tiny print on the website saying they won't take them back, even though the receipt states there is return value. Made a recommendation to the manager to post a sign stating this to protect consumers. She "yes"ed me to death and was extremely condecending. If I was aware of this policy, I would never had made the purchase to begin with. Again, Walgreens is not concerned about protecting consumers and making informed decisions regarding purchases.

Very helful and friendly. Gave me great confidence on the advice they gave me. Both the pharmacist and the Cashier were very good.

The pharmacist refused to fill out my Covid-19 medication for Ivermectin. The decision is corporate-wide, but he claimed he was "uncomfortable" giving it to me. Ivermectin has no lethal dose. I am sure he knows it is safe and very effective for saving lives for Covid-19. See this study:sciencedirect.com/scienc…He is, I am sure, comfortable with giving narcotics to patients that kill thousands of Americans each year. I will never go to a Walgreens as long as I live, nor will my family.

Disgusting store. I was told on the automated system to pick up my prescription on Saturday. CLOSED. Tried calling the store. Sat on hold for 20 minutes and no answer. Reported to BBB.

Typical understaffed, impolite, administratively incompetent big-Box retail pharmacy. Every refill there's some nonexistent billing issue. Every visit there's a line like a fairground ride. Every call takes 20 minutes to get picked up. Many of the staff haven't the least interest in being even basically helpful or courteous. But that's big-Box retail. They know the one other place in town is just as awful, so you won't switch.

I switched to Walgreens pharmacy because there were always issues at cvs, but now I want to go back to cvs because there is ALWAYS issues at the Newtown Walgreens. My biggest gripe is the pharmacy hours got cut way back and I've been twice now to pick up my prescriptions only to find notes on the window saying you're closed and sorry for the inconvenience. Management needs to step in here and take major action, this is unacceptable to the public

What good is a pharmacy that is closed on a Saturday and Sunday? The store instituted this policy the beginning of October without any explanation. To add insult to injury, as pharmacy customers with renewal prescriptions, we receive prerecorded telephone messages on a weekend reminding us that we have failed to pick up a prescription. Recently, on a Monday the pharmacy did not open to noon. My wife later went in around 1 PM after a wasted trip earlier in the day, only to find a pharmacy clerk dispensing prescriptions. When asked why the pharmacist was unavailable, she was informed in a snipping tone that we are on our lunch break. Looks like we will have to transfer to CVS. Too bad that Newtown with a population of close to 30,000 can not have two viable full time pharmacy's.

It was a bad experience for us. In the past we have been there and everything was pretty much okay. This time - NOT SO MUCH! I stopped in early in the week. I asked the pharmacist if he had any "high dose" flu shots for seniors. He said yes. Then, "The best thing to do is to go online and schedule an appointment online" It wasn't busy. Rather than make appointments then and there, I was told to go "online". With a few hiccups on the website, I made our appointments online. We arrived for a 3:30 appointment on time. We checked in at the register and were told to take a seat. AFTER waiting for MORE THAN 35 Minutes , I approached the pharmacist to explain that we had arrived on time at 3:30. "Yes, yes, I've got it right here, please have a seat. 5 minutes later the shot was administered. In the meantime, two people came in after us who had not made appointments and they signed in at the register. Hey were not told that they needed to schedule online. Bottom line - we waited 40 minutes for an appointment that had been booked and confirmed. This is not acceptable. The store wasn't very busy, but our service was poor. We may very well never return.

This is an awful and unsafe pharmacy that is clearly understaffed as well as both inconvenient and not helpful to its customers. They are closed for an hour in the middle of each day and also on Sundays. Twice I have asked to consult with the pharmacist about medications and got an impatient attitude and was told to "just read the enclosure" before I even asked my question! The information I was looking for was not listed. They have made significant errors on filling prescriptions for both me and my husband. I would not use them except for the situation that as a senior citizen my AARP prescription drug policy is only for Walgreens.

One guy was really chill and genuine, but one lady was downright rude, and disrespectful. Man, I just don’t want to go back.
