I wish I knew the girls name at the pharmacy. She's a one man show and is amazing! I never saw anyone move so fast. She takes care of the drive up and counter alone. She's remarkable! This review was from a month ago. I would like to add.. everyone is wonderful including the employees working the store and the register. The pharmacists are also extremely helpful in addressing any questions needed. It's comforting not feeling rushed when you have a question for them regardless how little they may be nor how busy they are.

This used to be our go to pharmacy but the service has gone down over the years we ended up going to CVS instead.. yesterday, we had a fedex return package to drop off but the people there were so confused and didn’t know why it was not scanning so they just told me that this item can not be returned!!?? I ended up driving to another store in Monroe and they took care of this return without any issues which was really frustrating that we had to wasted time driving further due to their incompetencies and lack of customer service!

Find another pharmacy. Walgreens is not concerned about protecting consumers. I bought a COVID test last week as a back up. Didn't need it, so the seal was never brolen. Manager refused to take it back. Apparently, there is tiny print on the website saying they won't take them back, even though the receipt states there is return value. Made a recommendation to the manager to post a sign stating this to protect consumers. She "yes"ed me to death and was extremely condecending. If I was aware of this policy, I would never had made the purchase to begin with. Again, Walgreens is not concerned about protecting consumers and making informed decisions regarding purchases.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. Hours are terrible and some of the staff are rude..

Very helful and friendly. Gave me great confidence on the advice they gave me. Both the pharmacist and the Cashier were very good.

Unfortunately have to agree with all other recent reviews of the pharmacy. I realize there are staffing issues in healthcare right now but there must be something in addition going on with management or a supervisor at this pharmacy causing everyone to quit. They are poorly staffed, have rapid turnover, and hours are not conducive to filling prescriptions like other pharmacies nearby. Extremely difficult to get refills and scripts filled, I highly recommend going elsewhere and do NOT make the mistake as listing this location as your pharmacy.

Speaking about pharmacy only. The people who work at the pharmacy are very nice to me & are always accommodating. However, the days & hours the pharmacy is actually open are ridiculous & unheard of! It's closed Saturday & Sunday, opening quite late at 10am Monday. Closing way too early at 6pm. With a daily lunch break 1:30pm-2pm. What other Walgreens operates like this with basically barely ever being open?!? They actually closed for 4 days straight & no one could get their scripts. They just said too bad you have to wait. WHAT? People need their medication. I just don't understand why & how they operate like this. I can't stand it anymore.

4 times in the past week we have gone to Walgreens to pick up scripts and every time , the pharmacy was closed! We had to try to transfer to a pharmacy 15 miles away which was the only one open. Our insurance with medicare is for walgreens locking us in. Walgreens is a huge disappointment and next time around, we will not go with that supplemental drug plan. Walgreens is a big thumbs down

They would not fill out my Ivermectin prescription for Covid-19 which saves lives. The pharmacist said he was uncomfortable giving it to me because of the dose. He must be aware that it has no lethal dose and is safe and effective, but was under a corporate directive to deny potentially life saving medication. This is reprehensible. He, however, would sell me cigarettes and narcotics that are known killers. I will never go to a Walgreens again, not will my family.

The pharmacist refused to fill out my Covid-19 medication for Ivermectin. The decision is corporate-wide, but he claimed he was "uncomfortable" giving it to me. Ivermectin has no lethal dose. I am sure he knows it is safe and very effective for saving lives for Covid-19. See this study:sciencedirect.com/scienc…He is, I am sure, comfortable with giving narcotics to patients that kill thousands of Americans each year. I will never go to a Walgreens as long as I live, nor will my family.

Typical understaffed, impolite, administratively incompetent big-Box retail pharmacy. Every refill there's some nonexistent billing issue. Every visit there's a line like a fairground ride. Every call takes 20 minutes to get picked up. Many of the staff haven't the least interest in being even basically helpful or courteous. But that's big-Box retail. They know the one other place in town is just as awful, so you won't switch.

I switched to Walgreens pharmacy because there were always issues at cvs, but now I want to go back to cvs because there is ALWAYS issues at the Newtown Walgreens. My biggest gripe is the pharmacy hours got cut way back and I've been twice now to pick up my prescriptions only to find notes on the window saying you're closed and sorry for the inconvenience. Management needs to step in here and take major action, this is unacceptable to the public
