“My friends and I came to the Lyme Art Association while walking and exploring through town. There were so many beautiful pieces, and more exhibits than I was expecting! The woman in attendance gave a wonderful overview of the art and artists, and made us feel very welcome.”

The local talent in New London is a force to be reckoned with in so many mediums and I love finding new local artists and musicians to follow/ listen to! “The Red House is a neat little shop filled with all sorts of small gifts from local artists and the prices cover a wide range so there should be something available for just about any budget. I saw in a local magazine that handmade frames were sometimes in stock and stopped in to see if I could get a photo framed to mail out as a Christmas gift. Barry was incredibly helpful with showing what he had available and explaining his process in creating the frames. He was also able to custom matte the photo to cover up some imperfections from the printing service. The recipient loved it! A much better experience than grabbing a cheap frame from a dollar store.I would definitely recommend browsing through when looking for a gift for an art lover. There's bound to be something great on the shelf!”
