I visit niantic every summer and i make sure to stop at McCook beach. I personally think McCook is the best beach in town. It is great for little kids with the beach and the playground and for older kids with the raft. Make sure to stop there next time your in town

This is my favorite park in Niantic. There's a paid parking lot for parking. There are picnic tables and benches. There's pathways to walk around the park. Of course you can't forget the gorgeous beach! Wonderful views from the sand and the hill! It's such a nice spot, it's a must visit every time I'm in town.

Mccook's point and Black Point are one of my favorite places on Earth. It is best to see by water. ?

Big playground, nice field, nice beach with filtered sand and typical waves. I would like to see more native trees planted there, though, such as native mulberry. More area for pollinators would be good, too. Towns can have nice parks and be more green at the same time.

Beautiful vistas off the cliff, and it's got a (clean!) bathroom. However, parking is a little tricky to figure out - you'll need to drive down to the beach area first.

I grew up in East Lyme. I am 57 and haven't been back here in 20 years. I will be honest I wanted to remember it like my childhood. I was not disappointed. East Lyme has preserved it, just like it has always been. Lot of benches. That was a bit much but my cousin pointed out it gets busy in the summer. My fondest memories were coming here in the winter, sitting on the ground, freezing my butt off. I am grateful for the beautiful beaches.

I love McCook's Beach! It's a great little beach tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Excellent views, a great little park for the kids and a scenic walking path nearby. It's the best!
