“I'm so thankful to have this store nearby. They have a large selection of beer, wine, cider, and liquor. They also have some imported stuff, and even a selection from microbreweries across the US. Very friendly staff too.”
“The owner... I assume is super friendly and very accommodating! He even helps with loading your alcohol. He will order a type of alcohol if he doesn't carry it... and we really appreciate that. It's hard to find green apple angry orchards and he carries them because of a request and when we found he carries them we bought all he had in the cooler and went back the following week (today) for more. He said he would keep them in stocks for us. He's awesome.. recommend him over the Grand wine and liquid near by... the cashier at the grand is down right rude and very unfriendly.”

“Went to this store to pick up a bottle of Tequila, I live in Rhode Island and drove about an hour, the store did not have the bottle i asked for and the owner, gave me a bottle of another brand for my inconvenience. The bottle was excellent!!! That was very nice of him and shows you the kind of owners he is, that takes care of his customers. I will be back once the bottle of tequila comes in!!!!!! Thank you much.”
“This package store has been around for a very long time. It used to be a small grocery store, but then many many years ago, changed to a package store and has remained one of the best in the area. The staff is always super friendly and the selection is always great. Oh and PUT A DOLLAR IN THE THE TUBE SO THEY CAN GET COFFEE. Oh and for Lisa Allen, who left a one star review, you failed to mention that wall of plexiglass that goes the whole length of the register counter while complaining about no masks. I don't like people messing with service workers just trying to help during a difficult time”

Bought a bottle of Rock Hill Farms and a bottle of Wild Turkey 101 8yr, and the store owner/ manager gave me $40 off. was comparing Eagle Rare from a different store, the $44.99 photo below, he discounted his to $45 for me. Super friendly. Wish I could get these prices/ bottles in NY.”

I watched him help and older gentleman with his stuff to the car... ive been coming to this place for many years and I always felt rushed and hurried to buy... if he doesn't have it there he will order and within a day or sooo... he calls as he promised and prices are great let's all welcome him to our town and give him our business.... young man, welcome to gales ferry dont lose your good manners and remember some of us can be difficult keep ya head up high!!!!!!”

I picked out a potted flower from here display and she just gifted it to me, if only she knew that this means so much to me right now. The flowers are now a reminder to always show a little kindness as Charlotte did to me. Not only was I blown away by this act of kindness, but also the great selection of wines & spirits. “The ONLY PLACE THAT'S OPEN UNTIL 10PM !! That's rare in Connecticut unless you wanna live in Texas where The liquor stores are open until Midnight and after that you can buy Beer and Wine 24 hours at Gas Stations, crazy Laws and what happens between States is Baffling”
