“This location does a pretty good job in keeping their inventory count high, especially with the Guilford sight now closed.
Customer service center is phenomenal and understood my concerns.”

“I shop everywhere because no one store has everything I need.Shop Rite often has the best prices but their selection is uneven, I often can't find grocery items in stock.Their seafood department is usually good, clean and well stocked, the meat department is close, but doesn't always have what I'm looking for.Produce is uneven, the organic section is nice, but the regular fruit is often bruised and picked over. I'm also not a fan of prepacked and bagged fruit. The Frozen and Dairy sections are well stocked and rarely sold out of sale items.Florist is small and I never see staff there, Bakery is crowded and heavy on frozen baked goods. The employees are pleasant enough, but if there are lines, I use the self checkout. Not a phenomenal experience, but good enough for me to shop there, but the Hamden store, same owner, is kept better.”

“We have been very happy with this Walgreens. In the seven years we have been turning to them for prescriptions, vaccinations, and the usual range of drugstore items, the staff have been uniformly friendly and helpful in finding things. (Definitely can't say that about the CVS off Connolly Parkway, though when we moved to Hamden, we came as CVS regulars from our previous home elsewhere.) Yes, the store is older and could use a little sprucing up. But it's clean, well-stocked, and very well-run. (If they run out of an advertised item, they have been quick to offer a rain check.) The pharmacists have gone out of their way to be helpful on several occasions, and the pharmacy and front end wait has generally been been shorter than at CVS). The store may be a little homely, but it's a neighborhood asset no less than Spring Glen Hardware. Remove review”

“After I was told by cvs they were too busy to fill my husbands prescription, I brought it here. It was filled within 10 minutes. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions here, as the cvs staff is rude and obviously can't handle filling medication when they say they will.”
