“I shopped at the Willimantic store this week. Your employee name Pierce was a very helpful young lady. While I was there she not only was helpful and polite to me, but also 2 other ladies. I was very impressed.”
“SHOP HERE! I have gone to Dollar General for years to get my TP and PT's. Every single one I have gone to in three different states is a mess! There is always clogged isles, messes where people have picked through and they are mostly dirty. Yesterday I was exploring Chaplin where I have never been. I new I needed TP so I went in. Even before I went in I noticed the parking lot was newer, and nicer than any parking lot I had been to in a long while. Strange thing to notice but I noticed. I walk in and was in total shock. Little did I know that this is the biggest Dollar General in the state of Connecticut, BUT this place was soooooo clean, and neat!!! You walk in and stand there like....NO WAY. Its giant. No messes. Its almost as if someone spends hours just making things perfect! End caps are themed like there was a Dolly Parton end cap! I felt as If I was at a Dept Store. I took the time to talk to Kristen one of the workers that gave me the history on the place. I was in such shock of how nice it was that I will never go to another Dollar General again. this one is just like 2 miles from my house. Kristen said the workers there work their butts off cleaning and making sure all is put away! I told her it shows and that I would write a review because great workers deserve a shout out. I enjoyed my time there and it was not my normal in and out for TP. I filled my cart because I could actually see things and walk through the isles. Very Awesome. If you live by the Chaplin Dollar General Go! Loved it. 5 STARS!”
“Great customer service. Employees always friendly and usually have you laughing or at least smiling when you leave. For an old building, they do their best to keep it neat and organized.”
“The employees of this location are amazing. They have smiles on their faces, greet the customers with kindness and treat the customers with respect. But I have noticed this daily occurrence of the store manager spending more time outside in her vehicle smoking cigarettes than actually working. Said manager also will leave employees alone at the store for hours without help when she should be working or at least have a second person that can run registers if it is busy. Overall I love the store. But the manager needs to do better.”
“I would have loved to say how delightful the woman at the register was but, I can't remember her name. She was very welcoming and so down home charming. Me and my husband will be stopping in more since moving to the area. Was looking for school folders that I couldn't find at walmart and I lucked out to find them here. Easy access location with plenty of parking”
“First time here. Needed a marker for some renovations. Didn’t want to have to go all the way to Home Depot. Took a chance and came in here.Fortunately found a marker I could use. Picked it up quickly went to the cashier. She was super nice and efficient. Prices were excellent. Was in and out.”

“The had a lot of items at this dollar tree. The ladies working were very pleasant. Service was pretty fast even with lots of customers. There is lots of free parking and a restroom. The restroom was clean just cluttered.”
“I found a great variety of flavoring for waters. Was pretty surprised to see so many at such a great price. Shelves are well stocked, and staff were friendly. There's also an invipco can and plastic machine on this store. Plenty of parking and a large store.”

“It is what’s it is. The only place on this section of 32 to get food or other household things. Quality, it ain’t. But it’s cheap and it’s well stocked and the staff are fab.”
