5 stars doesn't seem like enough for this company.
Reliable Paving just completed installing my new driveway, and it looks amazing! They removed the old driveway, and put in a processed gravel base, and 4" of asphalt in about 4 hours -right at the end of the paving season on 11/22/24.
Andrew, the company owner was on site the entire time, and operated both the bobcat to remove the old driveway and the paving box to apply the new asphalt. You can easily tell that he is very experienced at this. He had a crew of 9 guys who were always working. Everything was well cleaned up before they left too. Jeremy was another guy on the crew who made sure that I was happy with the work and had no questions.
They did miss putting in a small piece of the curbing, but they sent a guy back on Monday to resolve that, which was to my complete satisfaction. That alone tells you everything you need to know about this company! Things can happen, but it's how you handle them that matters the most to a customer.
I'd be remiss if I didn't mention my first contact with their company -Mike the estimator. He put the job together, explained everything that they would do in detail, and gave me a good price for 3,000 sq feet of new driveway.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company, or to use them again for a paving project.

Great Paving company to work with!! Andrew’s eye for detail is unmatched and his guys know exactly what needs to be done in order to have an A+ Job. If you’re in New England specifically CT I highly recommend you call them first!!

These guys were great! From digging out the old driveway to rolling and pounding it at the end took about 3 hours. Driveway looks great! And they were a pleasure to deal with too. Plus it sounded like they all really like their job.

These guys paved a neighbor's driveway last week and it looks great. I talked to them and they came over and gave me a free estimate, which was a great price. I will definitely call them first if I can get a new driveway in my budget for next year.

I wish I could give them negative star. Two years after my large driveway was redone , all the cracks that had been there since week 2, had grown in size and numbers alot and pretty much everywhere. In some spots, they may not last though winter. I may need to have the drive re done again, and they told me it would easily laat 15 years. Originally I called them to have my aged driveway patched up and sealed but they said it needed to be redone. Based on how it looks lik3 now, by end of the winter, it is very possible that it is going to look like my old driveway. Anything but reliable

Update: If you have ANY slope to your driveway, because of natural water flow, I don't recommend a tar and chip driveway in general. I wish the company had cautioned me. They said they thought the slope would be fine before they installed. I have had to fix deep grooves and had major gravel run off issues. They came out once to repair it, but you can't call them back after every heavy rain. I wish I had just spent less and gotten loose gravel, as tar and chip didn't hold up any better. I still do recommend Reliable Paving for tar and chip, again, only on FLAT driveways.
The company was helpful and responsive as far as communication throughout the install process. The crew was efficient, showed great team work, and they took the time to answer my questions/concerns during the day.

If your looking for great quality work for a reasonable price this company is for you. I was a little hesitant at first because they didn’t have many reviews. But I’m so glad I used them they made it simple and easy. I had the opportunity to watch these guys work they were efficient, almost mechanical. And Suzanne in the office answered all my questions and did so in a extremely timely manner. Great crew awesome office personnel

This company does an excellent job and we highly recommend them. Whether they go by Reliable Paving or The Driveway Guys, they did the entire job in three hours with the owner working alongside the crew.

A top notch company from the moment the crew arrived until they left. Beyond a doubt, one of the BEST companies I’ve ever dealt with! These guys do exceptional work, very reasonably priced, and stop to explain everything. I would recommend Andrew (the owner) and his hard-working crew to anyone looking for outstanding quality at a great price!
