I had a terrible experience at this BJ’s Club gas station. I was in a rush to get gas around 11 AM on Sunday and pulled in backwards to reach the pump. The employee on duty, an older lady, deliberately blocked my pump and told me I had to wait just because I went in backwards. That is completely unacceptable.
Gas stations are supposed to make fueling quick and easy, not waste customers’ time with unnecessary rules and rude behavior. This kind of attitude shows no respect for paying members. I’ll be canceling my membership — BJ’s clearly doesn’t value customers’ time.

I am very disappointed with the service and equipment. Water is leaking on to the gas station. To fill 30$ it took me around 5mins...so disappointed.

To the old lady attendant that was working on 3/18/24 around 6:50pm I hope you get fired. She has a nasty attitude all because before I could put the wood block on top of my cash it blew in and she almost closed my fingers in the metal thing while I tried fixing it. Then she goes on and tells me “did you not the read the sign, rolling her eyes and says what pump are you even on and I go number 6. After she hands me my card I asked for receipt and she told me no so I said have a nice day then. If she was tired or having a bad day she should have went home. There was no need to ruin other people’s day. She is a racist and should get fired I wasn’t the only one who got treated like that. Another black man got the same treatment and when a white person came she changed her attitude real quick . I will be reporting her to HR because this is unacceptable.

Schedules their shift change for rush hour (5 pm) and then spends 20 minutes not helping customers while the lines grow. Shop elsewhere.

I purchased a set of 4 tires online from BJ's and scheduled an appointment for 5/13/23 at 12pm. A little after 10am on 5/13, a representative from BJ's called to reschedule my appointment as they were short staffed (mentioned a death in the family). I rescheduled the appointment for 5/17/23 at 3pm. I arrived at the North Haven location at 2:50pm. Again they were short staffed but I was told my car would be next. At 5:05pm my car was finally taken in and placed on the lift. Around 5:30pm the store manager informs me that they only have 3 of the 4 tires so my car cannot be done. I asked him to search for another set of tires to fit my car but he was unable to locate a set of 4. I did receive a refund for my tires and finally left the store at 6:30pm. I wasted over 3 1/2 hours sitting in the tire shop, which resulted in additional time off from my job and no tires replaced. This store is clearly not organized and their store manager does not have a clue on how to deal with or prevent circumstances like this from occurring. This was one of the worst experiences and it needs to be addressed immediately. An "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it and will not retain customers.

The gas station attendants (yes there was 2 of them) are rude and racist. I stood there for 10+mins and was ignored until another person of a different race stood behind me only then was I helped with an attitude.

Rewards have not been applied to purchases as stated within the credit agreement. After four calls and three months waiting the issue is still unresolved. Promises with no resolution. Scam? I am just asking for the money that is owed to me.

I recently had an accident and have a back issue. I went over to the front end and asked a man if someone could help me with the 5 gallon bottles of water I needed for work. This man proceeded to tell me how to lift a bottle of water...bend at your knees when you lift the bottle. Thankfully I was in a good mood so I didn't have him fired on the spot. I should have lifted the bottle and then sued the store for their lack of intelligent and disrespectful people they choose to hire. What a disgrace this employee was and I only hope the fool reads this so he learns you don't speak to others this way and when you work in customer service, you better be prepared to assist others. Get a new job in a closet! I've been a long time customer of BJs wholesale and will not return to this store again. Hope corporate takes a look here too...your name and reputation is being destroyed. Best to all who choose this store.

If I can give it no stars I will. Mariah was very RUDEEEEE ! First off there's only one line open on a Friday evening, ONE LINE ! So we decided to go to self check out since all the lanes were open. First there was an African american man who called her over to us to tell us we had more than 20 items. He could've told us that himself instead of having her do it. And when she came over she was very rude telling us we had more than twenty items. But they have one lane open who's line was long and filled with people. Instead of letting us just go, she's like "well I'm just telling you guys". Instead of counting our items and being at self check out walking around doing nothing, MARIAH should've hopped her a** on a register herself to help the line. Will never be back and I will continue to leave bad reviews every chance I get !
