Never use this credit union. Last payment for car loan is less than $50. They will take a full ~$200 payment. Their online system will not allow you to pay only what you owe. They will not take the balance of what you owe their system will withdraw a full payment of money that is not theirs. Should you wish to pay the exact amount you are forced to go into a branch. And what a coincidence the closest branch payment systems are down. They direct you to the next one in North Haven, what a coincidence that one is closed for renovations.

I've been a member since 1977 and thinking of moving my account to a bank. Long, long, wait when needing to see one of the folks in the offices. Over ONE BILLION in assets and did not include a rest room for their patrons when they built the new building in North Haven. Thoughtless. One year I was in to make my RMD and no one knew how to calculate yhe amount I was required to withdraw. Inconceivable. Amd now they have bank hours.

Used them for over 10 years. Multiple auto loans, personal and business accounts. They have become far to difficult to work with, terrible customer service and the worst online interface I’ve ever seen. Cannot wire out of account unless in a branch and still limited to $5k max. Business accounts have collected 0 interest in 6 months, when I reach out to clarify they basically said whoops! Has taken 4 calls to be able to log into business account that has been charged monthly for paper statements which cannot be turned off unless you log in. Unreal.

Had vehicle loan here obtained through dealership. Learned early in the loan that all interest was front loaded in the first 3 years. So, if you pay off a year or two early, they still collect full interest so no benefit to you. Read their fine print. Other reviewers said extra payments went to future payments and not principal. Shady practices, I closed it out asap.

When I tell you I'm fed up with connex credit union Bank with their rude employees. This is the 3rd time this month I called in to the customer service center and talked to a rude old woman. And the crazy part is I never once got a survey about they calls because if I did they all would have been rated 0. They all were very short and didn't allow me to say the full reason why I was calling. I do not recommend anybody who owns their own business to do business with this credit union. This have been going on for yrs. If you don't like answering the phone by all means the city is looking for trash 😒.

Two months ago, I purchased a car, and the dealership arranged my loan through this credit union. After making my first payment, I noticed that I had been charged $216 in interest. Concerned, I contacted the credit union to inquire about the discrepancy. I was informed that, although I did not have a car payment during the first month, I would still be charged interest for that period.Currently, they are charging me $5.19 per day. However, I was never informed of this in advance, nor did I receive any written communication from the credit union explaining this policy.

My auto loan is through Connex. I have been making ADDITIONAL payments on my auto loan via check, specifying the additional payment should go towards my principal payment. This was based on the guidance of the Connex rep I spoke to on the phone. To my surprise, each payment I was making IN ADDITION TO MY MONTHLY PAYMENT was going towards the interest. Scam artists. Hard to get ahead these days when every financial institution is taking advantage of you. Shame on you Connex.

Had very goo experience with Cindy Mardi who took our appliction for a home equity loan. She was efficient and helpful to explain the process. Had followup questions that she responded to by phone efficiently

I could not find a worse customer service experience if I tried. Credit unions are supposed to have a more personalized feel to them but every branch I've gone into with Connex is the same. The people seem miserable to be there and don't care in the slightest to resolve any issues or even process a simple payment. Would never do business with them in the future and advise others to do the same. There are so many better banks and credit unions than this one.

Probably the worst customer service I have experienced ever! I will be closing my accounts after banking with them for 23 years!!! Very difficult to talk to a live person, and the automated call line is useless - currently experiencing technical issues . . . every single employee at all branches needs customer service training. Wouldn't let me submit until I clicked I one star I wanted to give them zero.
