“A head shop with everything you could want and more! Glass pieces, clothing, incense, candles, snacks, knick-knacks; if it's something you would want from a head shop, Sunshine has it at a fair price. Staff is super friendly and helpful. You even get a free lighter and candy when you buy something! They even fixed the one thing I disliked about this place: the giant pothole. I highly recommend checking these guys out!”
“Such a hidden gem! A friend and I stopped in after kayaking to get iced cream. They have so many flavors of ice cream and it was delicious. We then went into the store and were surprised to see how extensive a collection they have of wonderful gifts. I grew up nearby and had no idea this incredible place was nearby. Definitely will be coming here for holiday gift shopping!”
“Omg we loved this place. We stumbled across it while on a walk in the neighborhood, and unfortunately for them, they had too much cute stuff. I think we were in there for almost two hours.The place was filled with super cute plushies of varying sizes and characters, cute accessories. My only bummer was that as an android user, there weren't any cute phone cases compared to the overwhelming amount of iPhone phone cases.Gotta admit, the phone case my friend bought kinda lost one of the charms on it as she was putting it on. Not bad enough not to use, but still, considering the price”
“Loved this cute little store! The shop owner was very friendly and helpful. She has a great selection of a little bit of everything. Jewelry, candles, coffee mugs, coastal things, sweets, sea glass art, is just the beginning of the list! Mostly everything sold there is handmade by local artisans. I was able to find the perfect gift for someone who has everything. A beautiful coconut bowl that the owner hand selected while in Thailand. Seems like every item there comes with a great story. While I was checking out she even offered to gift wrap my purchase which was just going above and beyond. If you get the chance do yourself a favor and check this place out.”
“Very great place with great vibes and energy. The place has its own parking in the back of the stores. There was a great variety of goods in the store. Lots of different kinds of gems and stones for the collectors. They have beautiful large pieces carved and raw. Lots of jewelry and decorations to buy. The store owner was very friendly and not invasive. Greeted us and let us do our own shopping. When shopping for bracelets for our 4 year old, she came over and offered to custom resize her bracelet for free! I was very surprised! Such a generous owner and very friendly. The prices here are very good, I felt I got what I needed for a reasonable price.
They even offer coffee in the back.
A great little shop to buy gifts, will definitely be back, I felt happy when shopping here”

“One of the funkiest, weirdest, coolest and most memorable stores on earth. You may walk in because you heard the music, or caught a whiff of the unexplainable incense wafting out the door, or maybe just because the window with its 1000 curiosities piques your interest.... but once inside you will find something you realize you never knew you couldn't live without. Every time I got my ears pierced ( I have 9 holes in my ears) I would stop in to buy a new silver hoop, and walk out with a dress, scarf, hat, soaps, candles, some odd toy, cool bracelet or hysterical greeting card to match my new earring.
30 years later I am still wearing my silver hoops in my ears, and using my ceramic incense holder, and the carved inlay box I bought there still sits on my dresser holding my treasured baubles purchased at GWB. I still remember the first time I wandered in the Chapel St store and met Rafael. He told me stories of the hippie days of the store, and I was hooked from then on. Do yourself a favor and stop in. Even just to share a smile. But more than likely you will find a fabulous gift for yourself or someone else.”
“Heard about this place through a neighbor and we were so happy we did. Went to Sal for all of our wedding stationary needs. He took the time (on multiple nights!) to go through all of our options and was patient with us. We purchased our wedding invitations and welcome dinner invitations here. He also was nice enough to give us his opinion on several design questions, since he has been doing stuff like this for roughly 20 years! Such a pleasant experience. Sal is the man!”

“I really like Red Owl when you want to pick out something special for someone. There are a lot of thoughtful things unique to Cheshire or special occasions that you wouldn’t find just anywhere. I also love that they gift wrap it for you! I would love to see the clothing options expand however, keeping a small selection is probably important to this type of shop. Reminds me of the shops you see along a boardwalk or on vacation. Crafty, unique, quality. I purchased a few personalized gifts including a Christmas ornament that says “no place like home for the holidays” with the town zip code. I can’t wait to give it to my daughter when she comes home for Christmas, so cute!”

“Adorable little shop with home goods and a handful of souvenirs if you were here to look at the Thimble Islands. Today the shop was manned by a couple of sweet young girls. I was thinking about getting a t-shirt and wasn't quite sure if it fit me. No fitting room, but a couple of hours later I tried it on and it didn't quite fit, so they happily took it back and refunded it on my card.”

“Mr.Zee is an AMAZING Person, from the first time I walked in he was very friendly and attentive. He even gave my son a balloon so he can give to my husband. I was so upset the next day as the arrangement I had purchased for my father never arrived. I walked in and explained to him how my father never received his arrangement he quickly looked it up and even called the driver to ask who he had given the arrangement too, long story short the neighbor had taken it but was denying it. Mr. Zee quickly went into action and told me “we will make him a new one, don’t worry ” and that he did at no additional cost. Customer service at this location is top notch!”
