Always friendly, they remember their regular names, that is customer service you don't get in most other places. The guys at the desk are personable, funny, helpful, and professional. They have po boxes, slot to drop mail pre-stamped. They sell packaging products, even tape. Prices are listed, but it can be a bit much, but the staff is helpful. The line can be long at lunch hour, but stop in after 130ish and it's pretty peaceful. Parking lot is easy to get in. Getting out can be rough if your trying to go south (left), but I generally go right and then try to u-turn it just turn at most convenient spot.

The people who are working here and the people who have been coming here are all nice!I came with 2 boxes, small enough to carry them easily, one gentleman was holding the door for me when I was miles away, I told him I got them, he said no I insist. And there was another gentleman who was holding the 2nd door for me. After I walk in, the employee had smile on his face greeting everyone happy holidays. How spiritual!

Great, fast service. There is a ramp outside the front entrance for anyone who can't do stairs but no automatic doors.

The employees are very accommodating, knowledgeable & efficient. They have helped me numerous times with things. Recently they took the time to look up a tracking number I had misplaced which was very important to me. The location is very convenient & parking easy behind the building.

I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years. NEVER had a bad experience with the staff. Customers, lol, yes. Staff absolutely not. I really am happy that our local PO has the staff that it does. Thanks for being there for all of us especially during this crazy time!

This post office has a very small parking lot up front for employees only and general parking in the rear. I only realized that after I drove in, due to poor signage and also because I was too hyped up to mail a letter to the president.

Normally the staff is very nice and helpful. A package I ordered has been lost since December 20th.. I'm very patient because I know how most people are..so I had the tracking number ready, also where it was last tracked to before the tracking went dark... walk up to the counter to start explaining the situation to get some information, I get cut off and asked where it was last, by the guy.. I tell him East Haven. He says to go there, they can't help me..and walks away.. So okay, I go to East Haven...and am told that they don't know why North Haven told me they couldn't help me. Hmm. So I'm told to wait a week and see if it shows. It hasn't. I go to the Wallingford Post Office to try and find out what's going on from my local office and the guy there was straight rude and literally blamed me and my fiancee for it getting lost because we moved and the address changed a couple months back, so it was forwarded.... Interesting. If it was simply forwarded, would it have not gotten to me by now in almost 3 weeks? I'll never know, because no employee could give me an answer. Still no information, no package that I spent $50.00 on..and nothing but rude dismissive people to deal with. USPS offices should really start to observe the behavior of their employees...

Very nice post office that is one of the larger ones I have seen in CT. Right off of the main strip in North Haven (Rt. 5) is a great convenient location for customers. I came here on a Tuesday to mail a package across the country. It was wrapped and all set to go. It cost about $14 to ship priority. The woman behind the desk was so helpful, that she was able to fit it into a smaller and better protective package and saved me money. I really appreciated it, since it saved me money, and I was sending fragile things as well. I definitely recommend this post office to those who wish to do their mailing needs. So many PO Boxes as well, which is a nice convienince as well. I will definitely be returning to this post office!!

I stopped at the post office today to mail a letter... I pulled in the the parking lot and drove around the building. There were speed bumps and stop signs in the parking lot and around the building. I then pulled up alongside the mailbox. Wow I missed the pick up by 5 minutes .., Oh Well

From 26 years of experience consistently using this post office, and that includes using it when living in town, and when living in another town for 10 years, I say past and present employees have provided EXCELLENT service, with OUTSTANDING customer relations and customer focus, and the same with the letter carriers, such as Tony, Laura, and Louie! Kudos to the entire team, and a special shout out to the following, who have consistently assisted me with accuracy, with being timely and cordial, and who have helped me with additional tasks, such as locating the correct zip code for a corporate address in NYC: Jamie, Don, Michelle, Phyllis, Sue, and Mike. I've seen these people multiple times move lengthy lines very quickly and effectively, at the busiest times, such as the holidays, my favorite time of the year. For business or personal, I still like that personal touch, so then, for instance, I like to mail out birthday and holiday cards, and am huge into mailing out hard copies of photos in addition to electronically sending them to relatives and friends, for receiving orders, such as coats, so the post office is very useful to me, even in these high tech times. My assessment as a customer, a teacher, and a public relations professional, is a hands down, two thumbs up, big smiles, obvious A+ to this entire team, as I got superlative service from anyone, who took care of me!!! 2019
