Very nice people. Not great mechanics, sad to say. My car was in their shop for weeks, once because they ordered the wrong parts. Then they gave it back to me & the car wouldn't go in reverse. So I returned the car to them for another couple of weeks. The car drives, but with some of the same issues when shifting that brought me to them in the first place. Oh well.

I brought my car to AAMCO of Norwalk recently and I was extremely impressed by their level of service, professionalism, and friendliness. They did an entire evaluation of my engine for no charge, and they were completely transparent and made me feel like I was in good, trusted, hands at all times. I would recommend them highly to anyone looking to have any work done on their car.

Brought my car here to be looked at after it died on me at a red light. Steve was very pleasant to talk to and took care of my car quickly. I am very happy with the service I was provided. Will be coming back here for any other car needs I may have!

Excellent business. Steve and Clara are incredibly kind, professional, respectful and trustworthy. Steve has always been very honest, reasonable in prices, and more than willing to take a look at things without charging me a thing (he once took my car for a half day diagnostic, gave me a reasonable estimate and options, and that was it). He even helped my mother turn her car around in the parking lot when she dropped me off to pick up my car. This is a very kind place, they have done great work for me, and I trust them so highly that I will not be taking my car elsewhere.

Last week before I went to work I stopped at the gas station on Main Avenue to purchase a bottle of water, when I got back in my car, my battery was dead. I walked over to AAMCO and asked the nice lady at the front desk if someone could help me. She said the owner Steve should be arriving any minute. A few minutes later, when Steve arrived he gladly walked over with me to the gas station and jump-started my car! I asked him what I owed him, and he said "Not a thing, it was free". I'm sure Steve had a busy day ahead of him, but he didn't hesitate to help me out. I will definitely be going back to AAMCO if I should have any other needs for my car, and I recommend you do too! :)

I’ve been a loyal customer at AAMCO in Norwalk for years, mainly due to Steve’s honesty and expertise. Steve has consistently provided amazing service, and I trust him implicitly with my car. His integrity shone through when my father-in-law brought his car in a few days ago; Steve honestly assessed it and advised that no repairs were needed, contrary to a different place’s recommendations. AAMCO and Steve’s transparency make it a trustworthy choice for automotive needs. Thank you, Steve!

Wow! Such a wonderful find for an auto repair shop! Steve and Clara are so friendly and honest! I brought my 10 year old car in for a strange knocking noise which appeared and then disappeared. Steve test drove the car and said the suspension seemed fine but he would have his mechanic check it out. They determined that a rock had been in the tire tread banging around. With over 100,000 miles in my car, they could have easily told me there was some other costly problem. These are honest folks, though, and the total cost to me today was $0. I'd give this shop a very high recommendation!
