The online bookstore is not very professional. The customer service representatives were not helpful in any way. It is stated that they take 15% of the sale total plus $1.50 for individuals selling. They took over 20% from my listing price, and the shipping credit didn't even cover half of the shipping cost. Sell your books through Amazon.

I went to purchase a computer (XPS 15) that I saw online a few weeks ago. I went to order it today because my voucher finally came through and it is no longer available. When I called customer service they said they wait until enough requests (20) are made to order more. It is not available to purchase and be put on back order either. I cannot afford to wait for this as I am currently in classes that require this computer. Their systems seem highly inefficient and like they care more about money rather than delivering quality. I just wish my school ran their own store and cut out the middle man.

I'm still waiting for my phone call from 2 weeks ago to be returned. My students are still waiting for materials 2 weeks into class. The course I teach is only 7 weeks long. How can my students be expected to succeed when they can't even get their materials?

They do not pay publishers promptly. I have fulfilled three orders for them in the past two years, and each one takes a minimum of 3 months to receive payment, requiring extensive and time-consuming correspondence. If I could give zero stars I would do so.

First time I called, someone didn't even answer, their phones just hung up on me! But hey, maybe you forgot to return a book? Prepare to overpay for it! Order a used book? Beware of the condition. I wish my school would just run its own bookstore. For the amount I pay to go there, quite frankly it should. Customer service was of course unable to do anything. Wouldn't buy my books from them again if my life depended on it. I can't believe they have the audacity to charge 260 dollars for a book that they will also offer to buy back from you for a measly 22 dollars. Wish I could run a scam like that without getting the cops called on me, but I'm not a college bookstore.

Take my book back. Your vague wording on whether or not your used books come with access codes is confusing and not ok.Even "Ben" appearently the top dog at customer service over there even agreed with me that the wording is confusing. And you still refuse to take my book back.Take my book back..This is what he said in his email to me " I certainly agree with you that these =one-time use =3D>> access codes are confusing."I'll gladly forward the email to anyone. If your head of customer service says your wording on the access codes is confusing then you can't hold me responsible and you need to grant the exception and take my book back.

This bookstore is in an universe of its own. Each genre was like a world you could escape into. It multi-leveled and maze like. I really enjoyed the local selection San Franciscan books and the children's section. The children's section consisted of books that I would be able to find elsewhere. Not you typical Eric Carle or Dr. Seuss.

Wish there was an option for zero stars. Horrible online book store for colleges, they will give you a run around to issue a refund for the wrong book they sell...stay away from them...better off getting your stuff from Amazon or BN.com.

This book store engages on back business practice by selling products not as describe. Stay away from them, they are thief and use deceptive practice(s) to steal your hard earn money.

I was able to received my textbooks without any issue and it came earlier than I expected. It was a very easy process to order online and the website was very easy to follow. I will without a doubt order my future textbooks from here and use to marketplace to make sure I am getting the best deal.

Akademos offers many options for students to purchase books and sell them as well. Options include buying used books, new ones, electronic copies or rentals. This is great because everyone has an option that they like. Books have always arrived on time for me for very reasonable prices. It’s very simple to sell your books back at the end of the semester.

Ordering was fast and easy! Information and instructions on how to order was well given. I received an email when my books arrived at campus pick up ! The books were in great condition ! Even the used books. Ths ebooks was easy to locate and convenient. At the end of the semester i was able to sell my books back , that was Great!
