Banksville Designer Fabrics is a true gem and the best fabric store, with a phenomenal and very well curated selection. It is a special, smaller independently owned shop with an impeccably organized sales floor. Their selection is the best, featuring quality non-synthetic fiber clothing fabrics, beautiful natural fibers like cottons, linens, wools, and silks, as well as gorgeous synthetics, Lycra, spandex, and other stretch fabrics not found elsewhere. They carry everything needed, from trimmings to sewing patterns, with weightings from light to heavier upholstery. They also have additional on-site storage, so it is worth asking if you do not see something. The staff are all extremely knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and helpful people who provide great assistance in choosing fabrics. Prices are very reasonable, fair, and unsurpassed. This is not a place for bargain synthetic fabric but for those ready to upgrade to lovely, beautiful materials. Customers have had great experiences making formal dresses, Chanel-style jackets, and other projects, finding perfect fabrics and patterns. It is a place totally recommended to others, with many planning to return.
The two women there were very helpful and knowledgeable. I’m a novice but they weren’t patronizing at all. I think coming here was cheaper than it would have been online. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend supporting this store so it can stick around!

Just want to say thank you to the ladies at the Banksville fabric that helped me find a luxurious linen fabric for my final project for my pattern making class last week. You both been a big help I’ll be back next week for more.
