We had a wonderful experience with Veronica at Hop/Dominick fuel regarding our renewal contract. She clearly explained all of our options. The pricing was competitive with the market and their service over the past few years has been exceptional. We are very comfortable with Hop/Dominick as our fuel supplier.

Worst oil company I have ever dealt with. Overcharge for everything including maintenance and installed a faulty water feeder and charged me over $500 to disconnect it!

Just received a letter from collections but never received a bill from Dominick Fuel or HOP Energy. Called HOP first and they couldn’t tell me what the Bill was for. All collections could tell me was that it was a non-contract bill. My contract ended in February and they came and picked up their tank. I haven’t heard from them since. So not to affect my credit I just paid it, not knowing what the bill is even for. Needless to say I will will never be using them again and telling everyone I know to stay away.

Don’t EVER ORDER FROM THEM. If you don’t wanna get Mistreated by their oil delivery drivers don’t order from them. I had a Delivery they’re supposed to call you half hour before coming. I am disabled the delivery driver telling me he was ready to takeoff on me. He was absolutely infuriated that it took me a whole two minutes to get down the stairs probably and he’s rushing me. I had to get the landlord downstairs to open the basement Which wasn’t taking any serious amount of time All required was when call . Had he done his job and called me half hour prior like the company said he had to, this would’ve taken less than five minutes like it actually took. He seemed very impatient, and he was a very large size guy, who kept puffing out his chest and Behaving in a very ghetto fashion towards me. (All caught on my cameras). When I Told him to please be patient because he can clearly tell I was having a hard time walking recovering From an illness, he told me it wasn’t his problem as he kept intimidating me brushing past me with his large body almost tilting me over. He told me my illness was not his problem, and he didn’t care. He refused to provide me with his name when asked for the last time for his name He rolled his eyes, turned around, walked to the truck and told me his name was “James” don’t know if that’s his real name or not. At that point I proceeded to his so-called good for nothing manager David, who was only worried about the sale As I tried to explain to him the turn of events. I couldn’t even ask David any further questions as he hung up on me. I can actually hear David Take a deep sigh, as he was being annoyed with my complaint. I didn’t even get to ask him how long it would take for them to refund my account before he hung up on me.

The staff ( and particularly the Loyalty Department) were extremely helpful in explaining and helping me choose a Price Protection Plan. The contract uses a formula based on the "Rack Price," which is not necessarily the easiest to understand. However, the staff readily spent as much time as necessary to ensure that I fully understood and was comfortable with the arrangements. You really couldn't ask for nicer, more professional people. Just a pleasure to deal with!

I am extremely pleased with Hopenergy/Dominick fuel they have provided us with the best possible service and assistance with our account and continue to do so. I would highly recommend them ! Also their customer representative I just spoke to was very concise, and accurate in going over my account information and updating my account in detail so we received a more affordable price on our fuel cost.

As it was time to sign up for the next year's home heating oil delivery, we contacted Dominick (now part of HOP Energy) to see what the new prices would be. Initially we had a bit of miscommunication, but their customer service rep named Luna took the time to clear up the misunderstanding and provide us with a fair contract. After the initial frustration, it was a very positive interaction with the company, and we look forward to our continued relationship.

You should avoid them. These are the scenarios that they put us through over a 1 year period. Signed up for propane, they came out and stated I needed a new Anode bag for the tank. Thats fine. After they charged me for the install, they then informed me that due to the location of my tank they wouldnt be able to fill it. This is something that should have been handled BEFORE they charged me for the Anode bag install.Second, when I said I didnt want to renew my contract pricing for oil, they said they would need to cancel the service contracts for my Boiler AND my Air Conditioning systems. They said there was no way to unbundle, and they would not refund me for the remaining 6 months on the contacts. I would avoid them at all costs.Services: HVAC system repair
