I left a message for the manager two days in a row with no return call. I called the front desk four times regarding a jacket left in the closet and was told literally five different stories about it’s where about. Completely unprofessional and ZERO efforts to help a guest with a left item.

Title: Comfortable Stay at EVEN Hotel with our Two ESA Golden Retrievers
My wife and I found ourselves unexpectedly staying at the EVEN Hotel in Norwalk after our condo was flooded due to a malfunction in our neighbor’s washing machine. We brought along our two emotional support animals, Ella and Thor, both Golden Retrievers. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming to us and our dogs. The hotel is well-suited for pet owners, which was important to us given the circumstances.
We appreciated the hotel’s wellness-focused atmosphere, with clean, modern facilities that made our stay more comfortable during this stressful time. The room was spacious, with enough room for our dogs to relax. Additionally, our friends even visited with their own Golden Retriever, Perseus, and the hotel was very understanding, allowing us to gather with ease.
The hotel’s amenities like the fitness area, in-room workout gear, and healthy food options in the lobby were a nice touch. The outdoor seating area with lights was especially charming for evening relaxation. The environment felt serene and was a great temporary home for us while dealing with our condo repairs.
I must also give a special shout-out to the two chefs and bartenders, Glen and Kevin, who were outstanding! Their service, attention to detail, and overall hospitality made our dining experience memorable. They truly elevated our stay, and we felt well taken care of.
I highly recommend EVEN Hotel Norwalk, especially for those traveling with pets or emotional support animals. It’s clear they go above and beyond to make every guest, human or four-legged, feel welcome.

If I could give zero starts I would. This is an unprofessional hotel which canceled my reservation along with several others and never notified the customers. There was a complete lack of communication and I only found out there is no hotel reserved upon hearing from a colleague who was in the same situation. Their manager and customer service had no explanation and could not provide proof they canceled the reservations. Simply stating they are booked out for the night in which I had reserved a room for over a month in advance. This all in less than 24 hours before my stay.

I did think parts were a little run down, but overall it was clean and easy to stay at. Staff was very friendly and had to work extra due to the IT outage!
Water pressure wasn’t the best and temp was a little cold, but I like the lighted vanity mirror for getting ready.
Noteworthy details: The patio is super cute and fun to sit on

A catastrophe... we booked a double room, when we arrived in the evening the room hadn't been cleaned by the previous person.
We reported this to the reception, they shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't have another double room... They gave us bed linen to change ourselves, but the bathroom wasn't clean either, so we went to the reception and with difficulty got two single rooms , The front desk crew was pissed, but is that the customer's problem???

EVEN worse than you can imagine. Great concept for a hotel but horrible execution. The pictures speak for themselves. Run down common areas. Dirty rooms. Want coffee in the morning? Nope. Everything is broken down or under repair. EVEN more ODD... there is no furniture with drawers or places in the room to put your stuff like pants, socks, and underwear.
Run, don't walk away from this hotel.
This is an IHG property. I am an IHG member but as a result of this experience and the lack of support from their Customer Service. I'll never stay with them again.
