Good experience staying here. The rooms are quite large and neat. The staff is quite helpful and courteous. Highly recommend!

Food and drinks: There is an Italian restaurant attached to the hotel which serves drinks too. The only issue was the limited vegetarian / vegans options

We recently stayed here for business and felt pleasantly surprised. The rooms, service, and location were excellent. The lobby sitting area is spacious and inviting. Plenty of area to relax or work with a nice view. We were glad to have chosen this other some other options in south Norwalk. There were a couple of things we felt could be improved. First, there really is no breakfast option at the hotel. The hotel restaurant doesn’t open for breakfast and the hotel only offered packaged oatmeal and a coffee bar downstairs, which didn’t feel up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The other thing was the lack of coffee in room. It wasn’t communicated at check-in that there isn’t an in-room coffee machine (they had a tea kettle instead). I’ve never experienced this before. Coffee was available downstairs or you can request a French press at the front desk. There is a nice cafe a 3-minute walk away for coffee/breakfast. I recommend staying here.

My husband and I are on a road trip exploring the Northeast celebrating our 30 year anniversary. This by far is the best hotel. Very clean, updated, and did I say very clean. The clean part is very important to me. The beds are comfy and the service is spot on. We will be back.

This was our second time staying at the Watershed Hotel, and it was just as great as our first visit. The rooms are spotless and feel quite new—no weird stains or odors, which is always a relief. The bathrooms are well-stocked with plenty of towels and products, so no need to worry if you forgot something. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and despite the hotel being right next to the train tracks, the noise didn’t bother us at all. We had a great night’s sleep!
The staff was kind and welcoming, even with our late-night arrival. Check-in was quick and smooth. The only thing I would suggest is turning down the temperature of the mini-fridge if you’re sensitive to sound, as it can be a bit noisy. This small adjustment made a big difference for me.
Overall, we always enjoy our stays here and will definitely be rebooking next time we're in town!

I had stayed her multiple times when it was Hotel Zero and enjoyed the location and the rooms. The redo for The Watershed is really quite nice but the flooring is not carpet and does not absorb sound. I heard every room's door slam shut. I heard people in the hallway talking and moving around in the room above me. And not to mention the train rolling through several times. At 9:30am housekeeping knocked on my door 3 times. I was in the bathroom and could not go to the door but they kept knocking. Check out is 11. Next time I would request the top floor and the street view.

Newly updated and beautiful property.
Entire building smells fresh and clean.
Room was clean, A/C in room was cold, bed smelled like fresh/crisp linen out of dryer, bathroom was spotless, shower was large/modern/luxurious/easy to use/DID NOT LEAK, and even the hallway smelled clean and had new carpet/new floor. I have never been in a hotel hallway that actually smelled fresh and clean. But this hotel was the first.
I keep saying “clean” over and over in my review because this whole building smelled incredibly clean. All the staff were very friendly and professional. They did a wonderful job with this renovation and our stay here was outstanding.

What a change from hotel zero - super clean rooms - very crisp and modern. The reception staff was very helpful; they helped me print out some documents and were friendly. The gym was adequate (dumbbells, a bench and stretchy bands) - coffee is in reception and the fridge in the room worked well enough. Great internet and a good location. Yes there is a train in the back - but honestly i stopped noticing it after the first time it went by. Would recommend this refreshed place over say the Even hotel which has grown very tired and slightly disgusting. Thanks for the refresh Watershed!

Our mother in law graciously booked us two nights here as a wedding gift with her credit card. My husband called to make sure this wouldn’t be an issue but when we arrived to check in, we were told that she needed to be physically present with the card in her hand. We offered to have her call, send a photo of her ID, but the desk staff held firm that this was policy.
There was confusion in addition to this as we received an email to check in digitally and during that digital check in, they make it seem as though they are charging you for the stay. But when we arrived, they told us that wasn’t the case and the card we selected on digital check in was for nothing at all. So why even bother including a calculated bill and select a card to “pay” if it doesn’t do anything?
We then offered to run a different card but the staff declined to let us do so. We had to ask for the manager and my husband had to go back and forth with them for several minutes before they finally let us check in. After which, they told us the room we had booked was not ready yet. The manager then got us keys for a different room.
The room was comfortable and spacious but very dark lighting wise. Wish the bathroom mirror had a way to make the light brighter as we were getting ready for our wedding and it was a bit too dark in the bathroom.
The surrounding area of the hotel isn’t the greatest and it is right off the Merritt Parkway.
Overall, my husband and I will not be returning. The check in experience really left a sour taste for us.

The hotel is beautiful. The staff we interacted with were very pleasant and made you feel welcome. Our room was great with an amazing view.
I was a little disappointed that the rooftop was booked for a private party because that was the main draw for our stay, but not a big deal. We couldn't go up that night, but decided to spend some time in the am instead. We were there for our anniversary, so it was about having a great time.
We were on the 3rd floor and were impressed that the noise above us wasn't really that bad with the loud music. It went off before 11 pm when quiet hours started as well.
The issue came up after 1 am. Several people were loud in the hall and woke us up. We didn't really mind that, but each time I started to drift off, a door would slam right by our room. With the crazy amount of cameras, I was surprised that I had to call for someone to enforce the quiet. The doors stopped slamming, but the people still kept the visiting and noise in the hall.
My biggest disappointment was that we were so tired in the am that we didn't have time for the rooftop and had no interest in getting brunch at the restaurant. My next biggest disappointment was the fact that no staff at all was available when checking out, which was a complete 180 from check in.

Joke of a hotel. Hotel staff threatened to call the cops on our party. We then moved to the lobby and were told by the staff that we were too loud still at which point the threat of cops was presented. This was a tame party compared to what it could have been, would not recommend if you like to have a good time
