The receptionist, Jay has been such an incredible support and has made the stressful process for me very seamless. She is a very sweet and considerate person and I’m grateful for her incredible customer service. I highly recommend!

I recently went in to unload my storage unit and found that there was mold on most of the wooden furniture. When I brought this to the attention of the manager, he said Sorry we do not cover mold. They have indicated that eventhough they sell people on maintaining the proper atmosphere which should not cause mold, they have not responsibility. Very disappointed. Rick Tilghman

I am giving a low rating for now because since I got a storage unit here, (November) I have not been able to pay online. It is so inconvenient to have to come to the office (hours seem to be different than listed) and calling over the phone, I do not like that my card has to be on file per the manager’s comments. The system says my unit belongs to someone else. No one knew what to do even though I kept asking to have the IT team look into it. That changed today (May 10th) when I met Jay! Immediately I was given a proper answer to my issue and that my card does not need to stay on file. Jay has excellent customer service skills, something that is missing from many businesses today.
The 3 is because my issue is not resolved and I asked the other manager several times for help Many thanks to Jay.

What a great storage facility. The facility itself is clean and well kept. The carts are top notch. We had a long term rental for years and finally got to the point of wanting to declutter and not need it anymore. Janet was amazing helping us with the process. We had not been in the unit for a while and discovered the neighboring unit had a small leak that came under the wall. Janet quickly had the staff take care of that and was engaged during our move out to make sure everything was okay. She is incredibly personable and just makes life easy. Highly recommend using Norwalk Self Storage!

I’m here today to express my incredible experience with Jaquell Wilson
I was having a hard time to switch spots since my it was very, very tiny and that makes very difficult for my employees to park the car.
Like I said, I have been trying to fswitch spots for a very long time with another person at the front desk, but she always ignore me.
I spoke with Jay, about it and he fixed the issues in less then four days, the problem it was already resolved. I don’t know how long Jay it’s been working on this location at the front desk but for me he’s been work enough to address that issue that I have been in the past, and to fix the problem Very polite person
very respectful, knowledge, it seems like he cares about the customers…. if he is not, he should be the front desk manager for sure. Thank you, Jay.

BAIT & SWITCH - BEWARE OF INTRODUCTORY OFFERS! - Secure Self Storage is a beautiful facility, well-lit, heated, elevators, hand trucks, even vans you can use. That was the reason we chose to take advantage of the "introductory" offer to rent a 10x10 unit for $179, $10 less than the similar unit we'd been renting for years elsewhere. We moved all our stuff in, and then, to our horror, they RAISED THE RATE BY 60% IN ONE YEAR. We called to complain and they said that we were still under market rate and they had added expenses and were raising us. I countered that I was aware that things have gotten more expensive, our taxes have gone up, our electric bills have gone up, but NOT BY 60%. They were having none of it. So now we're trapped because it would cost us hundreds of dollars to move our stuff out. We're investigating with our councilmen as to whether there might be some regulatory laws because this is outrageous. Also, there is a senior discount of 5% which they neglected to tell us until I brought it up. So when you accept an introductory offer BEWARE. Somewhere in the pages of fine print there is something about we can raise the rates, but who would have dreamed that they would fleece us to this degree?

Basic services and no perks here! They do not accept or dispose of pallets and trash of any size and not for any price. If you are a salesperson or a business, this is not the place for you. This facility is relatively clean and the people are nice. It used to be better several years ago.
