Watch out for those vacuum cleaners. I have just used two min and instead of a dollar they have charged me $10 to vacuum my own car. They don’t even have someone you can talk to. Just an automated service when you call.As for your reply; no one addressed to take care of my issue directly.

I love them. The lines can be long because fools can't get in the track properly or pull up close to the other car. You're in a track .. you can't hit them! People are so friendly!! We're members.

Paid for an exterior wash. There was an easy to remove dust on the back of my car and it is still there after the wash, all of it. Would never pay for a membership at this place.

Be aware!I Am a member of Norwalk branch of the Russell Speeder's Car Wash and have had the two cars unlimited plan for several years. I have never complained if my cars wasn't clean after cleaning at this Car Wash and even after an unannounced increase in my monthly membership fee. But couple of days ago the washing roller fell off in the middle of the car wash and hit my right side of the bumper (I took a couple of videos while was waiting inside). The washing process was not done and I left the the car wash with a dirty and wet car. My car was wet and dirty and I was trying to find out if my car wasn't damaged. After I wiped down my car at the car wash cleaning station, I showed the staff a few scratches on both sides of my car. Instead of apologizing, the manager said that he has extensive experience of 7 years working at the car wash and the pattern of the scratch does not look like ours. I have read many other reviews where people complain about the same thing and always have the same answer-“it’s not us”!!!He showed me the video footage from their cameras where the light reflection doesn't allow to see the clear picture but still no scratches on the back of the passenger side before cleaning. Right before that I showed him some scratches that was there prior this accident. He also said that someone would respond in next 24 hours to my complaint form that I submitted, but he also stated that he is 100% sure that it would not help me… I asked him if no one would help me, should I call the police and report it, after he said I should leave the car wash immediately on my dirty car…he was right because no one answered…I Am too busy so I didn't call the police or file a claim but I'm definitely canceling my membership immediately on both of my cars! I am not a big fan of the reviews and never have a time for that but in some cases just would like to protect others from doing the same mistakes that I have done. Will post it on “Nextdoor” websiteand some other websites as well…

First time at Russell Speeders…very poor job.Car is still very dirty. I was up sold to get wax, rims clean and tire bright. See pic of rims and tires. When I can out the exit I expected there to be some one there to finish cleaner and drying my car. There was no one to be found, unless I was to go back to the entrance.I will not be returning here and would suggest you go elsewhere as well.

I am a unlimited car wash subscriber. Unfortunately, the quality of the automated wash is getting worse. It barely removes any dirt, and doesn't remove even the simplest of bird p*** or pollen stains. Otherwise, the workers and supplies for self cleaning are good. Air pumps are NOT good. Shouldn't use regulated hoses by PSI setting. Just give us the compressor air

Went in the car wash and the entire exhaust got ripped out of my car and they don’t want to take accountability for it even though this happened INSIDE their car wash! The manager just kept repeating the same sentence over and over and would cut us off every time we tried to make a point. He refused to show us any footage of the car before and during the wash and only showed us the last 5 seconds of the video when the exhaust comes off. When he got there he said “I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t watched the footage yet” and kept making claims of how it wasn’t their fault even though he hadn’t watched the video. He refused to give us a copy of the videos. Has anything like this happened to anybody else?

Came by for a quick car wash and proceeded to be harassed by the staff for not wanting to sign up for a monthly plan. Even told me that I was being foolish to get my white car washed when it's going to rain later on tonight. They need to offer the plan and then LET IT GO.

I've been using the Norwalk location infrequently for years. When doing so I just wanted a single, quick, no-frills wash. The cashier staff are obviously working with some kind of commission/bonus for selling the monthly passes, because they push it hard. You generally have to say 'no' to them 2-3 times before they relent and let you buy a one-off wash. It can get annoying.Then I purchased a white car. What was I thinking? In a month of ownership I've been there twice, so I figured I would try the base-level monthly and see how it goes - I'll update my results with this program here later. One benefit of it seems to be the automated entrance once you have their sticker on your windshield. This place is a madhouse on weekends, with backup traffic lines blocking Route 7 sometimes. Anything to 'cut' the manual line (where the cashiers are busy trying to sell subscriptions) seems like a bonus. I avoid the place like the plague on weekends in any event.Wash wise, it is what it is. A goofy little automated soap blast and rinse. It's not concierge service detailing, nobody hand-dries for you, you just pop into neutral and go. Want to wash mats and vacuum? That's all self-serve in the exit lot.I've never noticed scratches/damage to my car in the years I have been going there. And to all of you other reviewers complaining about the ethnicity of the staff? Screw off, you racists.

Went here to clean bird p*** off my car and it didn't fully work unfortunately. If you like having a clean car though the unlimited pass could be worth it. They have many tools outside you can use for detailing.

I’ve had my membership for about 6 months now and never knew exactly which product to use. I was pleasantly helped by Carlos today and he deserves some acknowledgement. He took his time and walked me through each product, he was super helpful and definitely went over and beyond to assist me. Honestly it made my day :) He was super knowledgeable and his customer service was A1!!Services: Scratch removal

This business signed me up for a monthly subscription and I was told I could cancel. About a week before renewal I went on line and canceled my subscription. A week later my credit card was charged 52.00 for the following months subscription. I called and asked to cancel my subscription and asked for a refund as I would no longer be using their services. I was texted a few days later that my subscription would be canceled but my refund could not be made as there was no record of me going in line a week before and canceling it before renewal...so no refund From reviews I've seen this has happened to many other customers. I signed up in the Mt Vernon location and they will do nothing to refund my charge.. I would like to report their poor business practices and request someone intercede to get my credit card refund...I used the service twice and was unhappy with level of the wash...

I have been an unlimited pass holder at Russell’s Car wash for several months. Today I had a terrible experience. Dried soap residue did not wash off the car when going through the car wash. I attempted to go through the car was again utilizing my unlimited pass and was told this would not be possible as they were closed. Laineker attempted to accommodate me by washing the residue himself. His coworker Lucas made no accommodation and was instead interested in making me verify my membership and wanted to argue about where the residue came from when I just passed through the car wash 2 mins prior. I ended up washing the car myself with a towel and spray given to me by Laineker as the staff continued to make sarcastic remarks at me washing my car. Lucas discouraged Laineker from washing the car because “they did not want me to sue if he were to scratch my car” Terrible customer service, I would not recommend anyone to go to this location.
