I recently moved to Norwalk, 900 miles away from the stylist I was exclusively working with for 14 yrs. Needless to say I was nervous about going to a new stylist- I have curly, thick hair and I’m not the most outgoing person. Finding someone I can shoot the breeze with and get a quality cut/style is critical. I was at my wits end and cut my own hair.. it was bad.. and way too short.
I called Salon Etre and they scheduled me with a fantastic stylist, but I ultimately had my hair fixed by Nicole Pia. Nicole is exceptionally gifted, super friendly, listened to my needs and immediately knew what to do to save my hair. Nicole wasn’t pushy, she made recommendations along the way and I trusted her completely. My hair wasn’t easy to fix either- I didn’t want it any shorter, but the way she layered my hair was brilliant. I have to say, this is the best cut/style I’ve had in YEARS ?? at the risk of sounding overly dramatic, I almost cried leaving the salon, knowing I found my new stylist!

Booked a blow dry and make-up for my baby shower and I cannot say enough great things about this salon. I came in upset and stressed about said event and the compassion and care I received with just being a walk-in was so greatly appreciated. I walked out so excited for my shower and my hair and make-up was perfect! I am so grateful I get to look back at pictures that will make me feel good. I will definitely be back!

I have been to this salon a couple of times and I have always loved it. But my experience today was amazing. I had Joselyn for a haircut today. She was very attentive to all my hair cut concerns and wants! She communicated with me during my whole hair cut making sure I was okay with the lame, the style of the cut, etc. making the result absolutely what I wanted!!! The best part was when she took me over to wash my hair. She gave me the best scalp massage ever!!! I really appreciate her taking her time and not rushing through a simple haircut. Inside of the salon, it's very clean. They play fun music, and everybody is very friendly. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a haircut or color. Thank you again Joselyn!!!

I used to get my hair cut by Michelle here. Since she no longer works there, the receptionist scheduled me with Tatiana for a hair cut and glaze.When I got there, Tatiana seemed to have no idea what a glaze was. I was so uncomfortable so I told her I only would like a haircut. I instantly regretted it as she started cutting my hair.The fact she charged me $85.00 dollars for a haircut as opposed to Michelle who charged $65.00 is an absolute joke. Michelle was so much more experienced and professional.The entire vibe of the place seems like it went downhill and would never go back or recommend to anyone.

I have been going to this salon for years. They used to have experienced, talented stylists. This recent sono academy grad could not cut my hair straight and after 4 attempts my hair is still uneven. I was too scared to get the cut I usually get as I was worried I would be further butchered. It's clear they are trying to save money by hiring new people but losing the talented stylists they had was a huge mistake on their part and I won't be returning.
