In March of 2020 as the Covid pandemic was just beginning someone rear ended and totaled my vehicle. I needed a replacement immediately. Found exactly what i needed at this dealership quickly and with no hassle. Secured affordable financing using the settlement money from the accident as a down payment. Loan is now paid off and vehicle runs beautifully. I will return to this dealership when i need another car, even though I have since moved to the greater Hartford area.

Purchased a 2023 Highlander hybrid as out of state buyer - the first time I did not buy locally. The Charles Toyota team made the process seamless - handling paperwork and preparing financing for a hassle free, no surprises purchase. Brian in sales and John in financing made this the best experience I have had purchasing a new vehicle. I can highly recommend Charles Toyota for a pleasant, no pressure car buying experience.

Drove home my 2023 Tacoma today. I had the privilege of working with Rick Radlo for the sale. Rick was great and super friendly from the start. Rick worked with me for getting me the best price for my trade in. The day my truck arrived, it was a hassle free process to get in and out. I never felt pressured to buy anything I didn’t want or felt like I needed. I drove almost two hours from home to buy at Charles Toyota in Norwich and I don’t regret a thing. Thank you to Matt and Keith as well of Charles Toyota who also helped me with the process of purchasing my new truck. I love it! 10/10 would do it again.

Charles Toyota is extremely customer service oriented. I love that. I stopped in mid afternoon to see if I could get my 4runner looked at without an appointment. Within half an hour they had identified the issue & had a quote for me. They had to get a part in so I had to leave my car overnight, They got me a rental from Enterprise that picked me up & dropped me off. Plus they allowed my dog to hang out in the waiting room. Highly recommended.

Steer clear of this dealership. The service manager Mike is a joke, he’s new to the dealership. Does not have customer service skills and told me over the phone it was going to be $387 to have my O2 sensor put in my van that was towed to Charles Toyota in Norwich and then got to the dealership to pick up my van and was handed a bill for $563. When reminding him I was told $387 he had no explanation for the additional almost $200 excess charge. Read the reviews from other parties as well. He’s the worst thing that has happened to this dealership. Did not sign a repair request form, nor agreed to $563 charge for fixing an O2 sensor I was told would cost $387 out the door. Never bought a car from this dealership, but HAD brought both of my Toyotas here for several years to get repairs done. Never had a problem with the old service manager Bernie who clearly knew what he was doing and how to take care of customers. Reviews were higher and customers were more happy. Seems your sales department can make the sales, but your service department lacks quality, honesty, and customer service.

This dealership is the only place that I will purchase my vehicles! Tommy is absolutely amazing (this is my 7th car I've purchased from him in 12 years) and no matter what salesperson I have worked with, they are all courteous, knowledgeable and make the process smooth! This dealership is a total package experience, the service and body parts departments are just as amazing as the sales department. By far the best Toyota dealership in the state!

Jay was patient and respectful during the negotiation process. On delivery day, Jay's attention to detail and commitment to excellence truly made my new vehicle sparkle! The most pleasant car buying experience ever! No pressure, easy to talk with, especially Lou. Made us feel like family The finance manager was terrific and very accommodating. I have nothing but praise for this dealership. They even stayed late to make sure our purchase went through smoothly.I highly recommend Charles Toyota for next vehicle purchase. The staff at Charles Toyota are very professional and reliable. They are fast and efficient. They always get the job done right quickly and without any issues. They are upfront about any problems your car might have and the total cost of the service or repairs you need as well as any deals there might be coming up such as tire sales. They have my complete trust and I wouldn’t take my vehicle anywhere else.

Went to get my AC checked, they charged me for someone else’s bill. Called me twice back to back while i was trying to leave a voicemail for someone else which completely ruined my call. They told me i need to drive back “immediately”. Didn’t even offer me a discount or an apology for having to waste my gas to drive all the way back. I called and spoke to the manager and told them they wasted my time & the way they handled the entire thing was completely unprofessional when they could have just taken my card information over the phone but when I offered to do that they refused and insisted I go back right away. The manager offered to “help out with labor costs” for when I replace my compressor but after what I experienced I will not be back. This is the second time they have messed up my billing & made me either repay online or drive back. Go to a different Toyota. Completely unprofessional and truly do not care about other peoples time. When I told him I wasn’t going to go back for service the manager said “I’m not really sure what you expect from me”. Idk I’ve spent thousands of dollars at Charles Toyota and maybe discounting the amount of money i spent in gas to drive all the way back would have been the least they could do for wasting my morning.

I had a smooth and easy (first) car buying experience with Colby K. at Charles Toyota. I found the vehicle I wanted through the Toyota website and saw that Charles Toyota had the car I wanted allocated. I called in and was connected to Colby who was able to help me place a deposit. Colby was super responsive and easy to reach via text message and phone calls. He was able to give me updates on the arrival time of my car. Approximately 6 weeks later I was able to come in and purchase my car. John from Finance was also kind and easygoing; I was able to secure my new car at MSRP. They do not pressure you into purchasing add-ons and were very friendly (thanks for the Haitian food recommendation at Mommy's Delicious Food). Colby took the time to explain the functions of my car and also helped install my in-transit plate before I drove off. They also helped me secure my NY license plates, which were sent to my house a few weeks later. I highly recommend reaching out to Colby at Charles Toyota for an easy car-shopping experience.

My purchase experience with Colby Ray was outstanding. I found the car I wanted online, emailed him, and received a quote with no mark-ups. When I arrived at the store, the car was ready on the lot. Colby demonstrated considerable knowledge and was able to answer over 20 questions I had about the car (other dealer usually makes up the answers). During the paperwork signing stage, he proved to be very honest. I was prepared to handle bunch typical dealer shenanigans, but the entire process went smoothly. Colby also did a superb job explaining every single feature of the car during delivery. Nowadays, it’s hard to find an honest Toyota salesperson, but Colby is nice and he won’t let you down.

My experience is strictly with the body shop. I was trading a vehicle to a sister dealership and it had some damage. I was sent here for an estimate. I dealt with an outstanding young woman, Samantha. She walked me through everything she was seeing, and what needed to be done. She also discussed the cost of replacing items (the headlight was a killer). She was so pleasant and patient through the while process. A very positive experience.
