We love D’Elia’s! My boyfriend grew up going here regularly now every year we make it a point to come back and visit. We love their sandwiches (the meatball is my favorite and we love the turkey!) and he loves the nostalgia of visiting. We were so sad to see this year that they are temporarily closed, will absolutely keep checking back when we are in the area for their grinders!

We were in the area camping and were excited to try out this grinder shop while out for the day. Stopped by at 12:30 on a Saturday and they were closed. Hoping the owners can update the hours of operation.

Having heard great things about this place, I have sidetracked twice to try and eat here. Both times closed (Tuesday and Friday early afternoons), with not a whisker of explanation. I called both times, and not even an answering machine to state hours or unexpected closure. Obviously no website either. So I understand if this is a shop for locals and that's fine, but expect a poor review from an out-of-towner then. And if its permanently closed, let's get someone to update the map.

Found this place on a random trip I made to the east coast almost 2 years ago. Honestly best grinder I've had. Recently moved to Connecticut and decided to give it a go again and it didn't disappoint.

Who is this grinder supposed to feed? This has got to be the skimpiest grinder I’ve ever seen, there’s more lettuce and tomato on here than meat, go elsewhere

Their bread is amazing and the gentleman who made the grinders was very nice, however the grinder are seriously lacking. Ordered a large turkey and swiss, got one piece of swiss that was cut into quarters for the entire grinder maybe 4 pieces of meat. Got home and the bread was so soggy from the moisture on the meat had to scrape off the soggy parts off the bread. It took them so long to make 3 cold grinders that I guess I expected more.

This place went way downhill over the years. They staff aren't friendly because it's family owned and they act however they want. The one male there used to be patient and nicer. The older lady was always a grouch. The food is mediocre and they cut out a lot of items on their menu. They only have 2 tables and they don't clean much around the restaurant.
