“My father loved Malerba’s. We vacationed at Pequot Cottages on Gardner Lake in the sixties and seventies. Somehow, Dad found Malerba’s for fresh fruits and vegetables to stock our efficiency cottage. We were native New Yorker’s, not accustomed to farm fresh produce; what a revelation! I moved to CT in 1989 and I’ve been shopping at Malerba’s ever since. I was there again today buying echinacea, I needed a coneflower to add to all the flowers I already got there this year.”

“Aldi is a great place to shop if you’re looking for good prices and a quick grocery trip. They have a solid selection of everyday items, produce, snacks, and frozen foods, and the prices are usually better than most stores. The store is easy to get in and out of, and the checkout is usually fast. Selection can be a little limited at times, but overall it’s a great!”
