We brought 4 scooters from Macara's at regular price. 3 out of 4 of the scooters broke down within weeks barely driven. We tried to take them back and they told us they can't take them back. They were under 1000 miles which is the so called first time tune up stage. Instead we were quoted $100 an hour.

I have never in my life seen such horrible customer service by the OWNER’S GIRLFRIEND! My husband and his friend came into this business 8/11/23 to get his car fixed. The owners girlfriend was very rude to them, making them feel uncomfortable, accused them of ‘smoking’ when they did not. You assumed because they are black with dreads that it was them. It’s disgusting that this is still happening to this day. You lost 2 customers today ??

I brought my truck to Macara and I’m so glad that I did! They took the time to understand my vehicles special needs and made it safe. It drives straight again, doesn’t pull to the right anymore and these new tires are so much better. Will definitely be back for any maintenance needed. I rate them 100% and I would smash again with Macara!Services: Oil change

These guys are phenomenal! Josh and his team diagnosed an electrical problem with my truck and while they couldn't fix it because only a dealership is able to resolve the issue they pointed me in the right direction. Fantastic at answering ally questions and very fairly priced. Coffee while you wait is always a bonus too! Can't recommend them enough.Services: Electrical repair

Where to begin...Last Tuesday my step mother brought in my Mazda to this place for a breathalyzer machine to be installed for her as she was gonna be using my car. The initial appointment was nice and sweet which seemed to go well but boy was I wrong. My stepmom no sooner left the shop after install to bring the car to Empire Tire in Plainfield. While awaiting her turn to put tires on the car they went out to move car into shop and it was dead. My stepmother immediately reached out to Macara and was given to Shay (horrible service writer) which they sent out a technician (Harold) to check the vehicle. Upon initial inspection the car wasn't starting still and my stepmother reached out to me to possibly have it towed back to Macara if this problem couldn't be fixed while sitting dead at the tire shop. Harold was asked initially over the phone by me if he had taken the machine out and tried to start the car...he told me yes he did that already but it looks like it's my alternator as the car isn't getting spark. I was puzzled as this was so bogus. I ended up hanging up with my stepmother and was heading north to start setting up a tow to get the car back to the shop for them. I called about 20 minutes later asking what was going on??? My stepmom said he finally did take machine out and presto the car started right up. Hmmmm I was like I thought he did that already...my stepmom said he didn't do that till after you asked him to not before hand. I said oh he lied...she said he sure did. After a little bit Harold reinstalled the unit and it finally was working. It worked for another couple errands but then again the car was dead again. Next day we call up Macara's again and speak to Shay about the problems the car is STILL having and that now it's stuck at my stepmothers house in Plainfield. Shay sends out the technician again. The technician arrived to my stepmothers house and can be seen playing with the vehicle for about 18 minutes before it's started. You then can see him taking video of it working. Shay reaches out to my Stepmother and tells her it started up on first start which wasn't true but either way she was relieved as it was finally working. Later on that afternoon my stepmother reached out to Shay asking can she just have the unit replaced? Shay said she wasn't authorized to do that on her own and she would reach out to LifeSaver asking if that could happen. I expressed to my stepmother to just call LifeSaver directly and get them aware of the problems she was having. So My stepmother called LifeSaver directly and asked if they could contact Macara and authorize the replacement? Lifesaver explained Macara doesn't need authorization for replacement if the equipment is faulty. They should just be replacing it. They did call Macara and authorized the replacement but Shay is now claiming she didn't speak to anyone. Later on I brought my stepmother home from work that afternoon and yes it finally was working like it was supposed to but that too was short lived as it went two days no problem then presto it's dead on Friday night. Of course we had to schedule rides for my stepmother to work and wait till Monday morning to speak with someone at Macara's that yet again isn't taking any real responsibility of the faulty equipment they installed. I finally had it and did a three way call with Shay and My Stepmother asking why can't this machine just be changed out? Shay stood ground that they didn't have authorization and that we needed to speak to Lifesaver. After a few rounds of back and forth nonsense and me getting beyond frustrated we get a nasty Shay claiming they won't work on the car and take it somewhere else. I'm not gonna lie I was getting beyond frustrated with Shay and her back peddling try to say our video of it not working was a lie or that it's not there problem etc. Conversation got to be too much and then Shay says they aren't fixing it and don't come back. No problem as reviews are everything hence

I considered two other Rhino spray locations, including one in NY. I'm so very pleased that I chose MACARA Vehicle Services. I've had two other F150s spray lined (Rhino) in the past, and the past one lasted 17 years with very little peeling or wear. I called in the beginning of the week and had the pleasure to speak withe Shea. She offered two different appointments and I took the first, on a Thursday morning. I ended up dropping my truck off the night before, which I really wasn't that concerned with but, you really never know with how some criminals like to target these types of businesses. I received a call the next day, around 1230pm that the spray liner application was finished. It was maybe a little earlier than I anticipated, but I was happy to know the truck was ready. Once I arrived, I walked up stairs to see Shea and the truck. She handed me my receipt and warranty info, and I thanked her for her kind and helpful service. When I got back outside I just stared at my truck bed, taking in the amazingly flawless Rhino spray application. I'm not blowing smoke when I say that whomever is the technician that performed this application, he or she is an artist. Hands down, it's the very best Rhino spray application I've ever seen. Both my son-in-laws and some work friends were amazed at how good it looks! I am completely satisfied and highly recommed MACARA. They support Veterans too! Thank you MACARA!Service: Body & Trim

We ran into an issue hooking up the lights of l a uhaul trailer to our Toyota Highlander. There was an issue with the 4 pin connector on the vehicle which needed to be replaced. We were unsuccessful at finding a place that could provide the service we needed for the vehicle until it was suggested we try Macara. Matt at Macara was more than happy to help us right away and resolve our issue to get us back on the road. Would highly recommend Macara for automotive service!

Bought my first scooter from here. Matt is amazing. He’s great with his customers and really takes pride in giving you the best service he can provide. They’ve worked on my scooter since. The mechanic that works on the scooters is also super friendly and just all around a nice guy. I’ll definitely be buying more as well as referring more people to come shop here or get work done. Just an honest bunch of guys!

And back window had to be redone........... UPDATE:: within an hour of posting this Matt called me to do what he is able to make things right. That's GOOD customer service.
