The Norwich Arts Center (NAC) was formed originally as the Norwich Arts Council in 1987 by a group of local artists and arts-lovers who were inspired by the region’s cultural possibilities. Our mission is to provide affordable programming in a variety of arts that reflects the area’s rich diversity and deepens arts appreciation. NAC is an all-volunteer run, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in a historic building at 60-64 Broadway in downtown Norwich CT. We have two galleries on the first floor, offices on the second floor, and the 134-seat Donald L. Oat Theater on the third floor.
Good acoustics for live music. Cozy venue serving beverages. Table seats available first come basis. I've been to several live music events now and enjoy the regional favorites that play here.
