i was sold the wrong iphone. i was very clear what i wanted. when i got home, and was setting up the phone, i realized it was the wrong size. unfortunately the employee did not go over the bill with me, and tell me about a connection fee, so the final price sounded accurate. i came back the next day to get the correct phone, but they wanted to charge me a $40 restocking fee even though it was an employee mistake. they were unwilling to waive it. making customers pay for employee mistakes is a terrible policy.

This particular T-mobile store I wouldn't recommend if you are a black person on multiple occasions I felt like when I walked in I didn't belong the women and the men were extremely rude they way they would talk to me was crazy it seem like they had an attitude when I would ask questions and would rush me out the store I still went back and applied for a phone it was like they were surprised I got approved and then it seemed like they were even more shocked I had the money to pay for the phone extremely un called for I would recommend the T-mobile in the crystal mall in Waterford they are more rspextful

Rude employees. Been there twice. Both times. Ended up being helped by same girl. Heavy set girl with long dark hair. Bad attitude. Today stopped by to pay my bill and girl opened store 5 minutes late and snapped at me as i walked towards door. Avoid this place. Ugh.

Christine was great with white glove service. Asked all the needed promo and sales questions. Brought up future open enrollments because my lack of insurance. And made sure my current tech was working great and up to standards. Christine also discussed home internet with me through T-Mobile over frontier. Sadly like most franchise stores relying on 3rd party corporate program logins and load times, the computers were slow and Christine attempted to log in about ten times to help me with her A+ customer service, but the program would not let her. Her coworker with a already signed in device had to finish the transaction under his logins, leaving Christine high and dry if I decided to purchase new tech late in my visit. It's worth management playing phone tag with support to get all the devices upgraded with hardware and software and proper and up to date log in ID tokens from corporate to allow the white glove service to continue. Thank you Christine for making my visit pleasant 11/10. A sales persons job is to make sure as the patron I’m comfortable and taken care of. To help find value in items I may not see the value in or know exists. Some people get salty when the rep does their job recommending solutions I didn’t know I needed.

Hopefully this saves someone their time: If you buy a device from a 3rd-party (like eBay) that was originally locked to Sprint/T-Mobile, they will not unlock it for you (even if the IMEI is clean). That being said, you can still use clean devices on the network, but you are forever locked to Sprint/T-Mobile. This is due to you not being the original owner. Seriously, that’s the only stipulation. Not very Un-carrier of them…Instead, they will try to push a free phone on you to sign you up or keep you in service. If you forget to ask them to unlock this free device (or any device) they never will, and if it ever leaves the original owners account it never can be. I find this to be a horribly outdated policy when they’re clearly capable of doing more from an Information Technology standpoint. Way to further contribute to waste issues. Another company gripping people by their balls and wallets at the expense of health and well-being.Store Visit: Floor was very dirty around entrance, device displays and front desk. Wintertime, yea, but a general sweep more than once a day would probably help. It was observable that a team member could easily manage a phone call that only required them to talk while doing such a duty. They weren’t wearing masks, but customers were. Goes to show customers care about the workers health but the works don’t care about the customers. Staff was friendly enough, not necessarily enthusiastic. Fairly knowledgeable, yet there was a 30+ minute wait even though my issue was pretty cut and dry, and required little input. Store visit is entire reason for 3 stars.

I have been a long time customer of Sprint/T-Mobile. My iPhone was due for an upgrade, and today I stopped at the Salem Tnpk, Norwich CT. location. The service is phenomenal; very professional. I would like to thank Chassidy, Addison, and Kenneth for their service, and highly recommend this location.

I'm am retired and disabled, at 60 years of time on the planet earth, I have lost a step or two, and the warranty on a many of my body parts has long since expired. With all the things going on in the world today, I have noticed a lack of customer service in our banks, and coffee shops, and not because of staffing shortages. That being said the point of this comment, is the outstand customer service I have received and witnessed at the T-Mobile store on West Main Street in Norwich, CT. I recently purchased a new cellphone, and because it has been 20 years since I have replaced my cellphone, I forgot a lot and or just not up on the new trends. I have had to go into the T- Mobile store in Norwich three times. One reason is, they have treated me great, answering all the questions I had at the moment, and were extremely patient, kind, and understanding with me. I left each time satisfied that what was important to me at the moment, was solved and I was treated with respect, even though they were clearly busy with numerous customers.I had the privilege of being waited on by the manager Ewart, employees Cristina and Addison, during my three visits thus far. I highly recommend this T-Mobile store if you are looking for a new cellphone and service, they know what they are doing and extremely helpful, especially when it's busy.

I have to leave a review before I leave the store. The staff here are the best. Every time I try doing business over the web something would go wrong. The crew in the store was the best. 4 times they helped us straighten things out. I have worked with several and they are always happy to help. I will definitely come back to the store when ever I need assistance in the future. Thank You to your entire staff.
