I go to send stuff to my sister mant times they don't have the big boxes in there slot you have to wait and ask for them.If they payed attention and check there boxes often there would be no issues.customers would be happy then the place would be 100% great

I’ve had multiple packages scanned as delivered that have never arrived, we have a staffed mail room so no chance of porch pirates. Once found all the packages dumped at our mailboxes and had to chase down my neighbours light packages from blowing away in the wind.

USPS continues to show a below subpar performance not only related to other carriers but by their own standards. I recently ordered packages. Packages were due to be delivered on Sunday. Excuse for the packages not being delivered was due to inclement weather. Tracking shows the packages at the facility in Norwich CT. Weather for the day was sunny and 45 degrees. Not only did they not deliver the packages on time they also lied about why it was delayed citing inclement weather as the excuse. The USPS shows lack of initiative in performing the required duties to provide a timely service in mail delivery. This is not the first time USPS has show poor ability in trying to deliver packages in a timely manner. Compared to UPS, FEDEX, DAHL, and other carriers USPS ranks at the bottom in customer service and needs to go back to their roots of being proud to provide on time mail delivery instead of the lazy uncaring attitude that is exhibited by the USPS service. I will now be traveling abroad without the required items due to USPS in ability to deliver a package and will also have to rely on other people to return the packages for me causing multiple people to have to pay for USPS in ability to do their JOB.

The building os very beautiful and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
Only deducted one star because they really need to put in a ramp. People with wheelchairs/walkers/strollers can't access the post office, which is crazy.

Norwich Post Office employees never disappoint. Whatever my need is, I receive courteous service and help whenever needed. Always a pleasant, satisfactory visit.

I don’t usually leave places and get in my car and immediately think to leave a review but I went in here, first time in any post office with no clue what I was doing and very anxious. The beautiful clerk with gorgeous red hair was so kind and explained it to me. Quick and easy, and I’m very happy with my service here. Beautiful historic building too!

For some reason my mail carrier thinks it's just easier to fill out slips to sign for a package before even coming to my house! I was at home and carrier didn't even come to the door...Ring cameras prove it! How lazy can you be? Now I know why I try to mail with UPS or FedEx.

Absolutely! The worst post office in Connecticut. They scan your packages as delivered when they haven't actually delivered them and when you call you're told you just have an attitude and they refuse to deliver to your house anymore. The postmaster is absolutely worthless and does not do her job. And from the reviews I'm not the only person experiencing this. Something needs to happen in Norwich so that mail delivery is like it was previously

The mail guy is great, but after a disagreement the manager of this office (kristen fitzpatrick) had with my apartments, all of my packages started getting held, office closed or not. This place needs new management, customers shouldnt have to deal with a childish manager that punishes everyone else over a petty disagreement. She always seems very pleased with herself when she tells you “professionally” to go stick it where the sun doesn’t shine. You cant even contact this office, try calling. Goodluck
