The mail guy is great, but after a disagreement the manager of this office (kristen fitzpatrick) had with my apartments, all of my packages started getting held, office closed or not. This place needs new management, customers shouldnt have to deal with a childish manager that punishes everyone else over a petty disagreement. She always seems very pleased with herself when she tells you “professionally” to go stick it where the sun doesn’t shine. You cant even contact this office, try calling. Goodluck

Package said it was "delivered" but never received. Looked around the other complex buildings, my neighbors the bushes, nothing.Tried for weeks to fill out a claim. Finally was able to. Online filing system is horrible to navigate and would always tell me it couldn't process my request at that time. Denied my claim on my insured package that I NEVER RECIEVED. Need to figure out some type of safe place to deliver packages in an apartment complex so they are not stolen. Might as well of thrown my money straight into the trash can.

Every time I go to the Norwich Post Office, I am waited on by the nicest people! Today it was a young man named Sam. He was very polite, so helpful and very upbeat and friendly. So refreshing to have kind, thoughtful and helpful people working behind the counter. And I also love our Postman, Dimitri!!! He’s the BEST. Keep up the great work Norwich!

Absolutely ridiculous. I have mailed two items to a different part of state over the last 2 months and it has taken over a week. My last piece was mailed on 6/13 and it still has not been received. You guys are a joke!

My mailbox was hit and damaged from the postal worker on Christmas Eve, so nice. I called for months asking for someone to repair and now they are denying they did it even though I had four people at my house that all witnessed it. I’ve called at least five times since the incident and have never gotten a straight forward response from the numerous supervisors I’ve spoken to. Filed a complaint online which they now are denying after months of run around. And now they send me a notice that I need to repair the mailbox after they did the damage? Unbelievable.

This Post Office is one of the best I've ever been to. The service at this location is Very good and I am especially grateful for the help that Stephen gave us today with sending an important package. The wait time is good but I'd avoid lunch hour (as I would at any store) because it can get very busy and there may be longer wait times. The building is a beautiful 1908 structure and I enjoy looking at the detail in the lobby.

Stopped in this morning for passport services, Stephen was extremely professional, efficient and had an award winning personality! He was very friendly and was in a great mood! He appeared to genuinely enjoy his job and he knew his way around which leads me to believe he has been around for a while. While Stephen helped me, Sam helped additional patrons with a similar positive attitude. These two demonstrate exemplary customer service and set the bar very high for other USPS employees!

While many people are complaining about the Post Office service I find myself disagreeing when talking about the Norwich, CT postal service.From the carriers who deliver my mail to the crew at the Main Street Post Office to the awesome folks at the Postal Annex near Walmart I see dedication and a strong sense of customer service. For example; I missed a delivery last week. While it didn't need a signature the delivery person made the right decision not to leave it. She didn't know it but it was a very expensive piece of computer hardware.I called the annex to see if it made it back the same day and if I could pick it up. I spoke to Kristen. She was helping someone else but said she would check after she finished the other call. She called back within minutes to tell me I could pick it up right away.I know this is long winded but it was important to give the Norwich Postal system a big Thank You!

Needed help on a busy "Amazon Sunday" in Norwich Ct. Needed my packages because I was leaving town. Supervisor Christian was a wonderful help. She got the job done. An additional supervisor J. J. stopped in on his day off to help get things done. These two are to be praised. I'm sorry I don't have their last names but they are from the Norwich, Ct. Hub. Thanks so very much for help. This was a must get it done by today and it did.

The employee that helped me, at the desk, did not offer an opportunity for me to get an email copy of my receipt. He skipped that portion. I tried to click on email and print out a copy and he skipped it. With so many things that can go wrong, it's good to have an electronic copy of your receipt. That is why I gave it four stars today instead of five. Now, onto the good of my visit. The employee that goes by the name of Steve is the reason why they would always get fives. Just saying This employee went over and above to help me. I didn't know that there was a difference between the boxes to send things in at the post office. One is a flat rate and one is by weight only. In addition I was sending something to the north east or the New England states so it's cheaper to send things that way. The other employee didn't even offer that to me. Steve saw some thing stepped in and He saved me eight dollars. The other employee wasn't gonna change my shipping option because I wrote on the box already that I selected. Steve told him that it didn't matter and that he needed to help the customer. I saved money shipping something to my nephew. Because Steve stepped in. Period. Thank you to Steve.

This is the best post office location i went so far. Employees are always polite with positive altitude. Specially Debbie she is a nice lady.
