Although it does say that no children under 6 are allowed to golf the course, more effort should be made on the website to emphasize that no children under 6 are allowed on the course (including infants in carriers) as well as that the course not being fully accessible to strollers. Not having that information is misleading to families who have younger children.

This is the only mini golf place around and you’re telling me that I can’t can’t bring my 4 month old baby. We can’t even hold her while we play.

They have lost a yearly visitor for life. We have come every year while on vacation as a couple and were very excited to bring our 11 month with us this year. Except on arrival we were informed we couldn’t bring him on even strapped to my chest. Please tell me what trouble he was going to cause there. Great way to lose a lot of customers, do the owners really think the people they turn away now are going to return in six years.

This is a Top 3 mini golf course in Connecticut. The only things that give me pause to say it is the best are the price and the steadfast refusal to allow children under 6 years old. However, in their defense, they make it very clear that children under 6 are not allowed to play. It even gives you a warning when you plug it into Waze. The course is meticulously manicured and supremely challenging. I have never seen so many par 4's on a mini golf course and an overall par of 49 is almost unheard of. I want to go back to get revenge on a few holes! I was 15 over par. To put this into perspective, in my last round at another mini golf course, I was -5. This is a challenging mini golf course but it was definitely fun. I loved the creativity of each hole. Our favorites were the cave and the outhouse.

Arriving at this place initially I thought the mini golf was going to be childish given the massive dinosaurs outside the building. So I was hesitant for two individuals in their mid 20s to be mini golfing there. Though filled with dinosaurs and a bit dated, the mini golf course did not disappoint. It was indeed a fairly challenging 18 holes. The layout of each hole was different, and the varying slopes and obstacles were each given careful consideration for placement. Beware, hole #17 was the trickiest of them all, I'd like to comeback one time to attempt master that hole.

Tried taking my 6 and 7 year old golfing here along with our infant child in a carrier. Apparently NO CHILDREN UNDER 6 are allowed on the course. We were turned away because we had an infant with us. How does this make sense? Is the sleeping infant at risk from the dangerous game of miniature golfing? Is the infant who can't walk or crawl going to climb the exhibits? Apparently this is listed on their webpage, but what person checks a miniature golf webpage for the rules before they visit? Will never consider giving this place a dime of my money in the future.

We got turned away because we had a 3 year old and a 7 year old. They don't allow children on the course. Wish this was a little more well known before we made the drive. Yet the theme is tailored to children with dinosaurs everywhere. Maybe put something in the "info section" that says no children are allowed. Very disappointed...

Apparently mini golf here isn’t family oriented. Can’t enjoy family time after traveling here from out of state because my 1 year old can’t enter. Can’t even carry him the whole time. Some how this is a dangerous environment. Yet outside the gates of this place could pose more dangerous… would’ve recieved a 0 if I could’ve.

My husband and I recently visited this mini golf course with our 2 adult children, our daughter-in-law and 2 of our grandchildren. We were given our golf clubs, quickly chose our favorite colored golf balls and proceeded to the first of 18 creatively designed holes. After instructing our 7 and 9 year old grandsons on how to hold and swing the golf club, where to aim and how to hit the ball, we began the game. We let a few smaller groups go in front of us, at two points, since we were a party of 7. It took us over an hour, and many laughing fits, to get through the course! All of us had such a great time, that although it was our grandsons' very first time playing mini golf, it certainly won't be the last! We finished off a fun afternoon with ice cream cones from the close by snack shack.

We went to That Dinosaur Place and made sure to leave with enough time for a round of mini golf. We have a 6 yeard old and an infant. I saw on the site and building that it was for 6+ but it is not made clear that other children were not allowed on the course at all. Our infant son was asleep in his carrier and would have slept through the course. According to past responses, and the excuse we got from the employee manning the entrance, under 6 aren't allowed because they climb on things and someone could and has gotten hurt. My 6 month old sleeping infant was not in any danger there. We left with a very disappointed 6 year old who could have spent longer in the splash pad.

Bring bottles of water!Loved it! The set-up is really fun! The place is clean and beautiful! Looks brand new even though it is not! At each hole there is a gem/stone and facts about it! Staff was friendly. Not overpriced! We would go back! The 4 is because we wished there were more shady places. It was a really hot day! Also, there were some stones/gems missing from the boxes.

This is my favorite mini golf place. Each hole is themed after a gemstone, complete with fun facts. It's a tournament level course, but don't let that scare you. Some holes are more challenging, but that leads to more laughter and camaraderie with players around you. Plus they have an ice cream stand next door, so if it's hot treat yourself to a milkshake or cone after!
