Nature's Art Village is Connecticut's fastest growing family fun destination and has an attraction for everyone. It features The Dinosaur Place, a park with life-sized dinosaurs, trails, a splash pad, a kids play area, and a volcano with a geyser. There is also Copper Creek Mini-Golf, a well-kept adventure course with an old west mining town theme. Discovery Depot is a hands-on indoor activity center, while The Gateway Museum showcases American trades and innovations. The Shops offer gemstone jewelry, fossils, minerals, gifts, educational toys, and a big bead room for jewelry making. There is also a room for raw crystals and a downstairs area for cutting open geodes and panning for semi-precious stones. The Past Antiques is a two-floor showcase with many vendors selling antiques, crafts, and collectibles. This place is a neat find with lots to offer for both young and old, including unique museums, antiquing, shops, mini golf, and a dinosaur-themed park. It is excellent for families or anyone seeking a different experience. They have an ice cream stand, host special events like markets and car shows, and decorate for every season. While prices are what one might expect for a tourist destination, it is certainly worth visiting and is definitely worth a trip back. Many find it a honey hole for natural gifts from the earth and report always having a great time. It is a nice little stop and is definitely worth visiting on a top 10 list for Connecticut.
