They give great advice and thoughtfully explain the background and intel on what you’re buying. The owners are some of the nicest, down-to-earth, lovely humans with a sweet love story behind them. It is a must-visit shop for amazing cheeses, the freshest fish off the boat, and a plethora of wonderful complementary items. The highest quality product is a must-stop for any cheese lover. Their sandwiches are off the charts, and their cheese curds are delicious, simple yet flavorful. You can also find gift baskets. You will always walk out with a smile on your face and cannot wait to come back. There is no other store like it.

Hustled all day on a long drive from Maine to get here before closing, and made it with just minutes to spare. The crew at New Curds was still awesome, walked is through their selection and got us on our way with some killer cheese. They're unbeatable. Many thanks!

We went as a member’s perk with the Mattatuck Museum. Terrific tastes of the cheese and a delicious oyster. I bought some cheese and the crab cakes. Super. I can’t wait till they open the raw bar. Everything is very fresh. The owners know and work with their sources.

LOVE this place! Perfect spot to buy delicious and quality cheeses for my wine bar. Cheeses are local and fresh. Staff is great and knowledgeable and the owners are just amazing! You NEED to go check them out.
