I went to Dan and Bills on a recommendation from a friend, I was seeing oil coming from my engine. They found that I had oil coming from the valve cover gasket which They replaced. Next day oil dripping from car to driveway, I took it back they kept the car. They looked for oil leak adding a tracer dye to locate the source. They charged me for this inspection and told me I needed a head gasket and to take it to a Mazda dealer.I took the car to another shop, they quickly located the source of the oil leak. Dan and Bill had installed the valve gasket but left a fold in it therefore oil was pumping out the back of the engine and running from the block.I paid them for install a valve gasket (wrong) to do another inspection telling me I need a head gasket and then I paid another repair shop to fix their botched installation of the valve gasketDon’t trust these guys, just look around at the operation that should be a sign of the type of work they do, wish I had known betterService: General repairs & maintenance

Dan and Bills is not closed as Yelp states. In fact, they are almost always open! A previous review also cited a "secretary". They do not have one. Over 15 years I have taken various cars there and they have always been forthright telling me what issue is now, what needs to be done now or for the long term. They always check out the car so you are made aware of other issues. Extremely knowledgeable about cars. Almost any brand. They do the repairs themselves, so maybe it takes longer for them to get the parts and do the work than a larger facility. But, they are far less expensive. So, if you can drop off for something like brakes, it is worth it. I have pulled in there with a thing in a tire twice and they just pulled it out for $5, pumped it up and told me how all my tires were doing. There is no waiting area or anything fancy- it is just a garage with 2 guys who love fixing cars.
