The absolute worst pharmacy experiences I’ve ever encountered. I have never had so many issues with filling prescriptions on time. There is one great pharmacist and everyone else there is rude, not helpful, and short with those who are just trying to get their medication.
They have told me my scripts are ready only to show up and they’re out of stock. They told me one time I couldn’t fill a script because it was too early (it was from the previous year). Absolute negligence and incompetence. I rarely leave reviews but they have messed up my meds every single time something is called in. They’re totally useless. They need to shut this whole place down. It’s truly awful.
I’ll be driving a half hour to fill my scripts now. They aren’t worth it.

Great pharmacist that truly take the time to answer any questions. Very helpful.
Some of the negative reviews are so disrespectful. Some of the stated issues are out of the pharmacy’s control. Extend a bit of grace to these hard working healthcare professionals.

Always pleasant staff in Old Lyme Walgreens in the store as well as the pharmacy. Questions answered. Refills done quickly. Reminders as well. Clean and organized. Good promotions. Like old pharmacy and store services of past instead superstore wait times and out of stock items.

Walked in and filled my prescription. I was told that I could wait 15 minutes to pick it up but I had to return to work. I returned the next day to pick it up and it was never filled. They were out of the prescription and could not fill it.

I'm always getting different answers to questions I have. It's ridiculous

Terrible. Took 6-7 trips to get a single medicine. They were unexpectedly closed one day, med not in stock one day, only half of a months supply, and I was going to be forced to pay two co-pays vice one. On three occasions, the doctor didn't do something right on their end. As a doctor, I know a decent pharmacist will make a call to the Dr's office and sort it out quickly to make sure the correction goes through, but three times they made us leave and call the doctor's office. Ridiculous. Will have meds sent elsewhere in the future even though we live in Old Lyme and it's the local option

The store staff is incredibly rude. Go to the Walgreens in Deep River if you live in the Lyme area.

I have come to lose complete faith in Walgreens Pharmacy in Old Lyme in the past couple of months. I recently came home with a prescription to find they gave me 9 pills; not the 90 pills that it should have been. Called them about this and was told I could come get the rest and would not be charged. When I went to get the rest I was told by the pharmacist that because of insurance they had to charge me again but would give me a store voucher. Ridiculous! I checked my other 2 prescriptions and they were short as well. Not once was I told I was given a partial fill. Today was last straw. I checked the total number of pills per bottle label before paying. Sure enough only 77 pulls. The pharmacist took it saying she would fill the full 90. New label says 90. I counted the pills once home and she only gave me 86. I understand they are struggling with a shortage of pharmacists but this is unacceptable. I will be changing pharmacies tomorrow; and NOT to another Walgreens.

Pharmacy is in a state of chaos. Perhaps understaffed or poorly trained. Took 45 min to be taken care of (was third in line when first arrived) when only getting COVID test kits (which had to have prescription labels added as they were covered under Medicare.) People were served by pharmacist out of order which added to others' and my frustration. Will avoid this pharmacy.

Scheduled a vaccination appointment for 6pm tonight, but the store closed 2 hours earlier than posted online without informing me. Wasted my time driving there.

In these pandemic times it is sometimes hard to make a store work well. Especially because staff shortages are affecting everyone and everything. You can clearly tell that this Walgreens is affected, too, but the few employees that are there are trying hard to be friendly and efficient. True, wait times at the pharmacy have increased a lot, but let's give people a break. They are just as stressed out as most of us are right now. Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future things will change to the better and service will speed up again!

Worst managed store anywhere. Pharmacy is terrible. Curbside says store is closed when they don't feel like doing it. Out of stock on many items.

Just went in and Scott the Pharmacist couldn't have been more kind and helpful. I went to CVS in Old Saybrook first and the pharmacist there was very aloof and clearly wanted to end our conversation as soon as possible, she even directed me to the wrong part of the store. So instead I went here remembering Scott from about a year ago when he helped me and as I had hoped he was incredibly nice, answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all. He even brought me to the aisle and handed me everything I needed. Thank you Scott I appreciate your kindness and love for your job and the people.

This pharmacy used to be great - now the worse ever - no communication even though I am signed up for text alerts . Each month there is an issue I am now switching to another pharmacy. The lack of effort is beyond .
