The vet techs are the same - they care about the animals they see. The receptionist (Dawn) is competent and just generally a nice person. The atmosphere is non-stressful, quiet and NOT chaotic - my dogs do not mind going to the vet!”
“A little further from my house than my previous vet, who was great for the last 20 years until they got bought out. It was worth, he drive. I'd give them a 10 if I could. Old school, no nonsense approach was refreshing. Got to spend the entire time with my dog during the appointment. They gave my dog the tests he needed, and didn't try to push loads of extras like some of the newer vets do. I will be most certainly be going back for future care.”

“My Siberian husky strained her back on New Year's Eve. She was in so much pain she could barely walk. Dr. Torlone relaxed her with the laser therapy and followed it with accupuncture. One week later she was back to her normal behavior and happy to be moving without pain. The treatment helped her to heal quickly and completely. She received excellent care here, we highly recommend it!”

“The Saybrook Vet is AMAZING, the entire staff is super kind and patient. We had to get our 3 month old puppy surgery on his paw and it was overwhelming… BUT the entire team has made it 100 times better. With their kindness and going the extra mile to make sure we’re all supported and that our puppy was comfortable. They don’t just do their job very well they do it with care and kindness. Dr Magruder is also very talented and has made us feel very seen and very well taken care of. Best Vet Around!!! I would suggest them over and over again.”
“We called at 12:15 on Christmas Eve because our dog cracked her nail and it was in a spot we were concerned wouldn't stop bleeding. They were finishing up a patient and closing soon because of thr holiday but they still let us come in. They were able to sedate our dog, remove the nail and get us medication and out the door in less than an hour. We are so thankful they stayed a little late to help us as upon driving by the emergency vet in Middletown on the way to a family gathering a few hours later we saw a packed parking lot and I know we would have been there literally all day and night if we had to go there. I know the bill would have been at least double there as well.

“After a previously poor experience at a different vet clinic in the area, it's safe to say I was VERY nervous taking my girl back there so I was in the market for a new veterinarian. After some research I can across good friends vet clinic and saw all of the good reviews. They are all being modest. Sincerely the veterinarians here are all fantastic and great at what they do. My girl isn't the biggest fan of the techs, but if they give her a treatie they became fast friends. There is decent availability and good working hours for my schedule. I also like how they are open on Saturdays. After I few appointments and feeling like Moose was in good hands, I scheduled her spay to be here. I was SO nervous to drop her off, but everyone made me feel at ease. I got two follow up phone calls and a detailed care plan for her post op. I also did not have to keep here there overnight. There weren't any complications and she healed very nicely & quickly. As long as I live in the area we will be coming here.”

“We travel 40 minutes each way to get here with our senior dog because they are simply the best. Prices are reasonable and we never feel like we're being asked to spend money on anything unnecessary, and our dog is always treated like family when we arrive. He absolutely loves going to the vet at Niantic Animal Hospital (I mean, not the poking and prodding that has to happen sometimes, but everything else he loves). :)
Take it from someone who drives past multiple vet clinics much much closer to home to get there: NAH is the best. ❤️”
