If you're attempting to call Glastonbury Vacuum Center (they're no longer in business), please know that the owner of Aerus Electrolux in Old Saybrook acquired their phone number and is pretending to be them on the phone. Pretty unethical way to do business and trying to lure customers 40+ miles away from Glastonbury.

The gentleman in this shop had absolutely no interest in helping me out. Had our air purifiers serviced here in October and wondered why the UV light had burned out. I asked if we could check what service had been done and if the light had been replaced once already. He said he couldn't look up our service but said we needed to get a new filter with the new light. Ended up buying a new filter and UV light...then found out our filter was changed 3 months ago. I will never go back to this store again. PS:charged 34.99 for the UV light which you can buy on line for 10.99!

Had me drive all the way from New Haven to old Saybrook told me that there was a Dyson factory rep on site to look at my vacuum free of charge and determine if it was worth fixing. When I arrived there was no factory rep only a salesman that turn the vacuum on said yeah the motor is shot cost more to fix it then it’s worth and then tried to pressure me into buying a new vacuum. Absolutely sleazy salesman and tactics.

Desperate with my Miele Vacuum cleaner with a stoppage in my hose. I had tried everything to unstop it. Ran to this store at 4PM on Friday of the Christmas holiday weekend as I was expecting out of town guests the next day! The sales attendant on duty was able to use his Electrolux to suck out my hose. I will definitely look at Electrolux next time, very impressed with their system! Many, many thanks!
