After a long 3 days of going to every Dollar Tree in the state of CT looking for specific flowers for a wedding, manager Diane Campbell in the Old Saybrook store stopped what she was doing to call about ordering them online for me. She saved the day. Always a pleasant experience with her.

The cashier, Denise, should not be working with the public. Do not bring anything you change your mind on to the register, she’ll huff and puff and little throw it hard in a basket. Deplorable behavior.

Visited the Dollar Tree in Old Saybrook over the weekend. I was looking for specific artificial flowers. And quite a few of them. The store manager, Diane Campbell, went above and beyond to help me. Even to the point of opening boxes that had not been put out on the floor yet. She was kind and sweet and so lovely to my 90 year old mom. Please recognize her in some way! There should be more people out there like that. The world would be a better place.

The Dollar Tree is the place to find very unique household items and helps keep the family budget in these days of economic inflation. The Dollar Tree offers some hidden exclusives such as the Final Faction toys as well. Thank you Dollar Tree for being such a great variety store. I appreciate the outstanding customer service that your employees give the public everyday. My family appreciates all that your store offers. ?

Very surprised by how incredibly rude the cashier was, usually I am not a bad review sort of person, but the animosity she displayed was frankly astounding. I had to bag my own items ( not a problem really) after she shoved a bag at me, and then she was tapping and frowning as I hurried to do so after finishing the transaction, and then immediately started tossing the nexts customers items on the counter space for bagging as soon as I had cleared space. She did not greet me or respond to questions and was just overall very uncomfortable to interact with. I almost wish self checkout was an option

Today was the third time we ran into the nasty woman who works here. The first time she wouldn't either wrap or give me a box for the 40 bowls I was buying for a library project. The second time she gave another librarian a hard time about items from Job Lot and made her unpack the wagon all over the floor. She complains about the tax exempt card and today refused to open another register even though the line was all the way down an isle. There was a screaming baby in the line which she refused to acknowledge. When her co-worker moved me with a full wagon to an empty register she made me get back in line - losing 2 places. When I finally got to the front, she spitefully opened the other register. If I didn't need the items and hadn't spent so long collecting them I would have abandoned the wagon. I wish other customers would complain. The owner needs to fire this woman, because we dread going to this store and will go to another. If I find out who the owner is, I will let them know.
