“The fuel was a hair above half when I picked it up. They marked it as 5/8 in the sheet. I was expecting that when I return it at the or above the same level I would not get charged. The fuel was a hair below 5/8 when I fueled it up and returned it. They marked it as half full and charged me 1/8 tank of gas. Later Carol helped resolved the issue and refunded the extra fuel charge. Remember to take pictures if your fuel reading at pickup and when you return it.”

“I’ve only left maybe 2-3 reviews in the last 20 years but feel compelled. I drive Nissan Frontier pickup and my hitch was showing signs of rust. I was going to buy a hitch online and attempt to install it but decided to google search to see if there was a local UHaul guy. Turns out there was on Plains Rd in Essex CT and after a very brief call I had a hitch on order.From the initial phone call until my pick up of vehicle the owner Jim has been the most pleasant,responsive guy I’ve ever dealt with. I just got home and felt I needed to share about my experience. The hitch/wiring harness look perfect and Jim even gave some free advice on preventing future rust.I had my black lab with me at pickup time and Jim’s whole family came out to greet her and let her roam in their office. Even had a handwritten thank you note on my dashboard!! (Never get customer service like this anymore anywhere!!!)Couldn’t recommend enough, thanks again Jim”
