I've spent a lot of money at this place, over several years, mostly on craft beer and tequila...has a good selection and fair prices. But don't ask the manager any questions, or try and interact with him beyond a minute or two because he'll just walk away from you or insult you that you ask the same questions all the time.

the best package stores in old saybrook definitely the best selection for the best price the beer selection is absolutely phenomenal bravo whoever shops for beer here and in the last few year they have expanded several times and it just keeps getting better and better

I have been visiting this store for years. They have quite an array of beers available.However, on a recent visit I was run out by the owner. He decided that I had spent too much time in his establishment trying to decide which whiskey to buy. I was on the phone with family and friends to get recommendations and take everything in since I was an absolute whiskey beginner. After picking 4 bottles to buy I was approached by the owner who asked me "what my angle was" and "why I was there". He told me to "buy something or get out of his store". I had been there for over 30 minutes. I hastily bought 2 of the bottles before leaving. I could tell the cashier was trying to be extra nice to compensate. I will never come to this store again and have recommended that my friends and family do the same. There are much better options in old saybrook.To be clear, the staff has always been wonderfully helpful and kind to me in all my previous visits. But the owner is unprofessional and does not deserve anyone's money.

Tell the little short man with glasses if he is going to follow customers around the store to be more discreet about it. Or just don't follow customers around the store. He looks silly on his tippy toes trying to look over wine bottles stalking customers. #creeper

Came in to find a bottle of holiday egg nog. The owner followed me around and watched me like I was a criminal and he was waiting for me to try and steal. It was very creepy/sketchy. I won't ever go back.
