I had seen two vets regarding my dogs digestive issues and tried two different prescription dog foods that made them sicker. My friend sent me to the Feed Bag and the first food the owner recommended fixed both dogs issues immediately and now they have perfect stools. I am so grateful for the help and guidance. “I just wanted to thank Choice Pet for being there and having such amazing employees. My wife and I have been popping in and out when we needed certain things (the old saybrook location is close to our home) but we bought the majority of our dog food at another business, until one day my wife and I were in a jam and while the store I gave my loyalty to didn’t have any interest in helping me out, your business, Choice Pet went above and beyond to help us in our dilemma! The location itself didn’t have what we needed at that moment but the manager called other locations until she found what we needed and then personally drove to a whole different town and got it for us before we left! Ever since she has been able to put in special orders for us, and the products we need and they have been so reliable and kind!! They call when our items come in and even help my wife bring bags out when she needs the help! It’s great to see people still care about their jobs and really care about their customers. “I go to the local Petco for our guinea pigs needs for the hay and grain that they are required to eat. I gave 4 stars seeing the hay at times while using the same brand and same kind isn’t consistently the same and at times it’s brownish and looks to be an older lot. I used to buy the Carnival one that was the Timothy hay but they no longer carry this to my disappointment and that was consistently the same . Also, I wish they carried more types of bedding such as the waterproof fleece bedding for guinea pigs as we have switched to using instead of the messy bedding that you have to consistently remove once it’s been wet from Guinea pigs going to bathroom . Also the staff are pleasant to me and my daughter as we visit a couple times a week . Thanks !”
