Really amazing experience. I was having issues with my shoes/leg pain and with a marathon coming up I knew I needed to do something. Muhammed was awesome he answered all my questions and gave me lots of advice. I felt really happy with the new shoes and insoles I got. So glad I came here because the service was just so great and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back

Excellent products! Sam and other sales very knowledgeable about foot and shoe care. They replaced my orthotic insert even after three months for malfunction. Educated me on my proper shoe size!

My wife and I went in together to get a must-needed pair of running/walking shoes. Sam was the one who helped us both out. He was *extremely* knowledgeable, attentive, and patient. We went through the process of getting our feet measured to ensure the best fit for both size and inserts, explaining the details as we went along. We each tried on around five or six pairs of shoes, as well as inserts, to fine tune the combination of fit and comfort based on personal preferences. This was hands-down the best experience we've had with buying shoes. I would *highly* recommend this place, and I don't think we will be going anywhere else for shoes from now on. Thank you, Sam!

Went into this store just to look. The store associate answered my questions and offered advice with no pressure to buy. The young man was so knowledgeable, listening to my needs,likes and dislikes. After trying on several makes and styles I did make a purchase. So happy I stopped in!

Have been coming to this store for over a decade and will go nowhere else to get running shoes, apparel, and solid advice about all things running. My most recent visits involved getting new shoes, trying them out for a couple of weeks, and returning today to swap them for the same shoe a half size smaller. Nick & Christy were totally helpful, patient, and accommodating, and the transaction was pleasant and hassle-free. I am returning to running after an injury, surgery, and 6 months of PT. My physical therapist asked where I was thinking of buying new shoes, I told him Marathon Sports. He said, "Good choice. They really know their stuff." Already knew that, but was good to hear it from someone in his field. Can't recommend Marathon more highly - everything they do comes from trying to give you the best experience and send you home happy.

This store in Old Saybrook provides good customer service, especially Gabriel who helped me with my recent sneaker purchase.It had been awhile since I had my feet measured; thus I appreciated being sized and having my gate checked to ensure finding a useful sneaker that would fit me well. Gabriel was very knowledgeable about the different features and fits of sneaker brands, and also the options for my size and activities. I am very grateful for his assistance and patience as I made my decisions.

We had a great experience! My husband and I came in looking to buy a quality pair of sneakers for each of us. Christy helped us and she was super! She took her time to assess our feet, watch our gate and fit us to the perfect sneaker. We are very grateful and will be back. Thanks again!

I went to them to get a pair of hokas. I tried them on in store but wanted a different color so I was going to order online. The staff told me that they had a special relationship and it would be better for me to order through them. I was then told it would take 3 weeks. My girlfriend ordered the same pair of shoes a week later that came in 3 days. Then three weeks passed and I called them just to be told that they did not have my order in their system and no records of my name or number. I had been charged on my credit card, so I called them back. I feel like they should have been the ones to contact me in the first place. I also was shocked that when I called there was not really ever a sincere apology and they were not proactive in helping at all. I have already gone online found the same shoes (at a discount I might add) ordered and received them all within a week.
