We are your source for locally grown annuals, herbs, vegetables and perennials. All of our plants are produced locally from Connecticut farms and nurseries. Many of the plants we sell are own Van Wilgen’s grown! Our Old Saybrook locations also carries a growing list of popular shrubs, including the best hydrangeas and the family of Knockout roses. Our staff is made of gardeners just like you. We are here to help you choose the right plants for your garden. We can help answer your gardening questions and we service the plants that we sell.
This is my second time going to this nursery. I changed out my window boxes a couple of times a year and this was a fantastic experience. Linda was over the top, helpful and friendly, and the quality of the plants was impressive. I will be back!
