Buyer beware!! By far the most expensive mani/pedi/wax I have had in the past 12 years! I usually go to POSH SPA & NAILS of Westport and Darien, so pretty upmarket locations with all the bells and whistles. As I recently moved to Orange I thought it would be smart to save on gas and time and explore my local offers. Stupidly I did not ask for pricing details before hand as I assumed the prices are more or less the same in Orange and Westport (if a little cheaper). BIIIIIG MISTAKE. There is no price list to be seen anywhere in the Orange Nails salon. Choi does not tell you anything either. I had a half leg wax, a "regular" pedi and a "regular" manicure. The half leg was was $50!! The regular manicure was $35. I picked a color that was pretty but once on my nails looked very, very weird, with areas that were not saturated. Once I complained Choi said "did you not know this is a "cracked" color??" What on earth is a cracked color? When the time came to add (or not) the tip, Choi told me it HAS to be 20% as it is only the two of them in the salon...... I am a good tipper but I hate being forced to pay any percentage of a tip if I am not satisfied. Never going back again. At this price range, I will pay for the extra gas and waste the time to go to my honest professionals in Westport or Darien. BAD practices Choi!!
