This architecture reminds me of former Circuit City, cuz it used to be one before that whole entire company went out of business. There's a lot of merchandise although those shelves get a bit messy in some areas. The employees are nice. Self-checkouts available at this store.I've found a book that I liked for that reasonable price. Not too bad though not as interesting as most other Savers I've been to in CT.Savers and Goodwill are only within a minute or two from each other on the same route, which is sorta ironic.

Thrifting everywhere is going downhill... all these stores are selling USED CANDLE JARS with the labels still on them, used pasta sauce jars, starbucks bottles, etc. Selling literal trash trying to get every penny possible.

This is an enjoyable place to shop. The clothes are a little overpriced but I get the 30% off geezer discount on Tuesdays, available to folk's 55 and older so it's not so bad. They have great prices on all their other merchandise, from crock pots, to vases and artwork galore. The staff are friendly, personable, upbeat, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recommend this store for bargains and a fun shopping experience. Rick

I love Savers and will continue to shop at Savers. But I am getting really sick and tired of the older lady at the cashier being snarky and mean for no reason. I accidentally tapped on paying w/ gift cards and wasn't able to return to the previous page. Had to wait for a cashier to come help me and unfortunately it was her. She kept mumbling insults while tapping through the screen. Made me feel like an absolute idiot and it was really uncalled for. Please tell her to fix that attitude because I am not here to be insulted by some 85 year old woman. If you need to point her out, she's the Caucasian old woman with the vest that has cat pins on it.

I’ve been shopping at savers for the last six or seven years and every time I have the most amazing experience. The store is always so clean and bright employees are always so friendly and eager to help. I can’t say enough good things about the store.

Savers, I sure do miss you. We moved further East and no where near a Savers. No other thrift store can compare with the prices and selection at Savers now whenever we travel it's the first place I look for.

I used to love this savers, but they have changed since covid. They don't have any fitting rooms in store and don't have a return policy. How am I supposed to know if my clothes fit without trying them on? How are you going to not have fitting rooms and not offer a return policy? I was told I could bring my items back for store credit and when I came back do that, I was told I could only exchange things for an equal or lesser value. Employees need to know their information to inform their customers correctly. As of right now I've wasted my money and am never coming back.

If you're looking to buy clothes here, BEWARE! It is the only thrift store I know of that does not have changing rooms. They also do not have a return policy. If you buy clothes that do not fit, they have a 14 day exchange policy but you have to buy another product and use your original purchase as credit towards your new purchase. It's a shame because they have a good variety of stock but the lack of changing rooms makes it very difficult to partake in 80% of their inventory.
