  6. Sherwin-Williams Paint Store - 997 Wolcott St

997 Wolcott St, Waterbury CT 06705

    4.8 Superb 52 reviews

“I stopped by Sherwin Williams at Wolcott St. in Waterbury, CT last week, hoping they would be able to help me match the exterior paint color of my home. The house was painted years ago before I bought it and didn’t have the color code. All I had with me was a piece of an old wooden shingle with its color. Using their computer, the store staff were able to match the color perfectly! This weekend I completed my exterior paint project and it looks amazing! It looks like the original paint- perfect color match. The paint was a bit pricey but it was of amazing quality. So was the service at this location. Highly recommend this location and their products.”

44 Pershing Dr, Ansonia CT 06401

    4.8 Superb 25 reviews

“Absolutely phenomenal experience at John Boyle Decorating Center in Ansonia! We recently made our first-ever bulk paint purchase — 15 gallons! — and Leanne and Bob made the entire process not only painless, but downright enjoyable. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine enthusiasm, deep knowledge, and a level of customer service that’s incredibly rare these days. Leanne walked us through every detail, from color matching to finish selection, with patience and a great sense of humor. Bob backed it up with serious know-how on application techniques, tools, and how to get the best results for our project. These two are an all-star team — knowledgeable, friendly, and absolutely top-notch. If you’re tackling a big paint job or just want the confidence that you’re in good hands, go to John Boyle in Ansonia. Leanne and Bob are the real deal. We’ll never go anywhere else.”

  8. Sherwin-Williams Paint Store - 656 New Haven Ave

656 New Haven Ave, Derby CT 06418

    4.7 Superb 41 reviews

“Came to this Derby location like I have been for years now but this visit I felt extremely grateful and appreciated. It’s hard to find workers that care about their jobs anymore and the front desk worker really showed me that there are still people who care and want to help you. I expressed my concerns with the Emerald 9581 flat, as it was not holding up to the quality I was used to. It scuffed excessively easily and didn’t hold up well. Well the front desk worker helped me choose a more durable finish and gave me a significant discount that left me in shock as I bought 3 more gallons. He expressed how it was more important to keep repeat customers coming back to their store versus making a large profit off each sale. The professionalism and accommodation was inspiring so much so that I had to leave this review.”
