She loves to draw, and sing songs, and knows the dances to nursery rhymes. She comes home counting 1-10 in both English and Spanish, without even asking, and she's only a year and a half!! I consider my daughter's teachers part of our family - we are so grateful for their patience, we have complete trust in them and they are so passionate about what they do. My daughter loves them just as much as they love her, and it really shows in the way they interact with each other. These teachers are the BEST!!! I don't know what we would do without them.”

“Cadence has been amazing for both of my children. I can honestly say it’s probably one of the only places I genuinely trust with my kids. I know they are in great hands and the staff is well trained for any obstacle they may encounter. The teachers (Skyla, Ally, Liza, Jody) all go above and beyond for my children, and most importantly, they treat them like their own. The teachers deserve all the credit in the world for taking care of all the kids during the week - they are amazing! Kaylee and Jess also make the place super welcoming, are amazing with the kids and are open to meet the needs of each family!”

“We have been with Kindercare since our first son was 16 weeks. It was a hard transition for a working mother but this daycare is truly amazing. The director and the teachers truly love their job. Prior to Covid, I was able to come into the center and nurse my baby. I saw firsthand how well the infant teachers handled their kids. They were all held and attended to as if they were their own. We now have two kids in this center. Their Covid precautions are strict, but we feel safe and clean here. My toddler son is learning so much at the discovery preschool level, much more than I would have been able to expose him to. It truly is like a play based school before school. Only cons are high teacher turnover, but this is common in other daycares from what I hear.”

“OTR was an amazing experience for my kids. The teachers made each day a fun one, as well as full of learning.We chose OTR because we had heard there was a strong pre-K program and there was also after-care for our school-age child.The pre-K program was very comprehensive. Ms. Tammy made learning fun, and had a structure to the day and week that made it easy to follow and support at home. We were always kept aware of any activities well in advance and could always ask questions.For school age, the bus picked up right from the center, so no difficulties whether it was a full or half day. They were open on school close days (except the major holidays). It met our family needs and my school age kid could get assistance with homework when needed.When COVID-19 hit, OTR stayed open. Staff worked with families to meet fears and concerns; we were kept aware of changes and protocols. Though my school age child stayed home to do remote learning, my pre-schooler continued to attend. Even with masks, staff remained cheerful, supportive, and came up with creative activities. They normalized checking temperatures in morning, and asked about symptoms and trips without making it seem like the same questions were being asked each day.They found a way to do a modified graduation ceremony and included my school ager, who had not attended in 3 months, in their farewell ceremony for the year.OTR came across as a family and we were definitely members.It is a great facility and my children thrived there!”

“Where can I start....We switched our kids over to Bright & Early a year or so ago, never looked back. We love this early childhood center. Everyone is amazing. The director Kaitlyn and assistant director Jenn are truly special people. They go above and beyond for the families that are enrolled at the center. If every an issue arises, Miss Kaitlyn and Miss Jenn handle with wonderful professionalism and care. They are truly wonderful. I can't say enough wonderful things about them! The team they have at Bright & early are just as wonderful. Dropping your child off with anyone is hard and weighs heaving on a parent's heart, but this team ensures your worries are at ease. Just a wonderful place!!!”

“It is a bittersweet feeling as our fifth and youngest daughter finishes the K-Prep program at Bright Horizons at Hall Blvd. Our family has had a child enrolled at Bright Horizons since the fall of 2008, when our oldest daughter was 2. Over the past 14 years, Bright Horizons has become like a second home to us, and the staff and other families have truly become like family to us. We feel so fortunate that we chose this child care center, and we will miss it dearly.I always feel so secure knowing that my kids are safe and in such good, capable hands when they aren’t with me. The staff is always ready to make tearful drop offs easier, and provide such comfort when separation is hard - for both kids and parents! The facility is very clean and bright, and communication with the teachers and administration is excellent. My children built such strong, loving relationships with so many staff members. It is truly heartwarming to see.Where Bright Horizons really shines, however, is in the preschool and K-prep programs. It was in these programs, specifically, that we saw each of our daughters really develop socially, become more independent, and gain a love of and curiosity for learning. There is just the right combination of structure and play time such that the kids are challenged, engaged, and happy. My 4 year old beams with pride when she hands in her simple “homework” assignments, and is so excited to tell me about her new “class job”. It is little things like this that gave my children a valuable sense of responsibility and independence. All of our children have graduated from Bright Horizons so prepared for Kindergarten, both socially and academically. My daughters’ kindergarten teachers have oftentimes commented on just how prepared my daughters were when they entered their classrooms. I can easily say that in terms of Kindergarten preparedness, Bright Horizons is second to none.Another great thing about Bright Horizons is how well the staff gets to know each child. My children are all very different, and the staff consistently addressed and catered to each one’s strengths and needs. The K-Prep teacher actually went to a book store and picked out a book for each child as a gift at their graduation. The books were unique and special to each child and showed just how well the teacher knew each child.The staff is kind, compassionate, and understanding. I believe this starts at the top, and the administration team is nothing short of amazing. They continually go out of their way to help families, and we cannot thank them enough.After having five children go through all the programs at Bright Horizons at Hall Blvd, I would recommend it without hesitation. It really has been one of the best decisions we have ever made for our family.”

“Thank you imagination for being apart of the ct free this year so that many kids in ct can have the opportunity to explore this hidden gem. Brought the kids here and they enjoyed themselves. A huge shout out to Karen who works at the museum. You can tell she really enjoys her job and showed my children and I how to use a lot of the cool extras the museum had to offer at different stations. She made the experience that much better for all of us and was extremely sweet and helpful this was important because this was our first time visiting and we did not know much about this place. She is one of the reasons I gave this museum 5 stars. On the other hand there was another worker there with short black hair that was watching us like a hawk and picked on my kids whenever I was busy with the little one. She made them so uncomfortable they soon gave her her own name in which I don’t know her real name but my kids will consider her as the “museum police” every time she came their way. She embarrassed them and humiliated them a couple of times of front of people and I find that extremely unprofessional as they were just sitting or walking around quietly exploring the museum for their first time. I think she was not used to seeing Hispanics in the building as the non Hispanics clearly did not seem to endure this type of harassment as she chatted with them politely. I will be making a phone call to her superior and explain to them more in detail about my experience in particular with this employee.”

“Our son started in October this year, and it has been an amazing journey. He loves his teachers and all of the staff. They are wonderful, kind, and care so much about the children. We feel our son that has already learned so much, and is excelling. The interaction they have in the classroom and outside is phenomenal. This was one of the reasons we selected this daycare! The Staff cares about the children and the parents wanting to make sure their safety is always a top priority. Our son gets so excited when we Ask if he wants to go to school. It has made it easier on us knowing he loves Going to children’s Village. The different activities they do, and We are eternally grateful for.We get pictures daily, as well as updates on how his day is going. There is nothing better than know how much he loves going here when my husband goes to pick him up and he doesn’t want to leave. “Went there today with my 4 girls, such a calm environment full of a lot of educational stuff. They have so many little animals, and they show you how they are fed certain times of the day, which is pretty cool to see and learn about! Her and Anne and the entire crew at this location have welcomed my son, our family and have been a safe haven, especially during such unprecedented times. Our son is a smart, observant boy to begin with, but he has just flourished and made such leaps in bounds in socialization, basic learnings, and communicative skills during his short but sweet time here. He sings daily about his friends and staff and I will forever remember this time time, where he got his start, as he continues to grow and learn, as that is what this center and their staff really focuses on!They have such fun and provide such great activities and updates on your children’s growth throughout the day. I also appreciate how they provide snacks for your kids as that’s one less thing a busy parent has to get, pack, etc. ahead of times, and I mean who doesn’t love that assist huh?!
