“Our daughter Nora has been going here since she was 10 weeks old. My wife and I were very nervous. I mean, who would not be nervous to put a newborn into a Learning Center?

Honestly, this was the best decision we could have made for her. She is 7 months old now and I would argue (I am biased, of course) that she is advanced. She can sit up on her own, crawl, feed her self with some supervision, say mama and dada (and is starting to know what they mean), she is sleep trained, has good pattern recognition skills, and more. She is so smart in ways I cannot describe.

I truly believe a lot of this is thanks to the Scott Swamp KinderCare infant room, and all the teachers who help out in there as well. My wife and I are at the point where we kind of just copy what the teachers are doing in the classroom. We are so, so happy that our little one can go here!”

“I went here for four dance recitals. It's a very nice place and the stage was a great size to accommodate all the dance numbers . I'm glad the studio had the recitals at this location ?”

“My son was 4 when he started just turned 5 and before coming here he was always home with me or his dad and so this was a big step but knew it would be so great for him. Him being my only child it was very hard to let go and find somewhere I trusted and this place has exceeded my expectations. He has grown so much while being here and it makes my momma heart so full.”

“I am very pleased with Cadence Academy, Farmington. Although I initially felt concerned about enrolling my one-year-old son in daycare after nearly a year together, the teachers provided a warm and supportive environment for him from day one. It's been over two years, and my son still enjoys going to daycare every day. The staff are caring, attentive, and always make sure my son feels comfortable and safe. He has learned so much and loves participating in the daily activities, from arts and crafts to story time.
The daycare facility itself is always clean and well-organized, creating an inviting and secure environment for the children. This attention to detail ensures that all children can play and learn in a safe space.
I have seen Melissa, the director, demonstrate a strong commitment to the children. She communicates regularly with families and takes the time to get to know each child individually, fostering a sense of belonging. All the teachers (including Ms Angie, Ms Melissa, Ms Diya, Ms Jonah, Ms Crystal, Ms Sarah, Ms Sierra) are friendly to talk with, and they provide regular updates of my child every day via an app and in person when needed.
This review was not written or credited hastily. I spent two years carefully observing all programs, child development activities, facilities, safety measures, and the staff's engagement with each child before submitting this review once I was confident in my assessment.

“Two of my sons went here years ago, and they absolutely LOVED it. (My son Anthony told us, at 2, his girlfriend was Miss Alicia, his teacher! ?) The directors and staff were always friendly and professional, and the care the children received was wonderful. I knew my children were safe and happy there.The staff set up field trips, activities, and parties for the students, and surprises for the parents, too: I LOVED the professional portraits of both my sons together they unexpectedly sent home! Those portraits are displayed in my home to this day.I came across my son Vincent's "Rainbows Yearbook" the other day, and it reminded me of how much we really loved Discovery Center. Both my sons were well prepared to enter preschool/kindergarten after a few years here. Thank you, Miss Lisa, Miss Marilyn, and everyone at Discovery Center!P.S. We found out my son Vincent was on the autism spectrum when he was 15, many years after his time at Discovery Center. While he was attending preschool there, he never, ever had any problems. They worked with him and his quirks, helped him develop his strengths, and truly made him feel loved ? (That was not always the case as he moved up through grades and schools!) Vincent is now about to graduate high school a year early, and just scored a 34 on the ACT. I know his time at Discovery Center helped him to love school, which helped him to be successful.Discovery Center will take excellent care of your special needs child, even if you're unaware your child has special needs.”

“I moved my son from the early learning experience due to the lack of communication, staff, professionalism, and care for my son. I changed him to the Goddard and it was the best decision I ever made. The owner was always there and not hard to reach at all. The teachers and staff were all amazing it made going to work and leaving my son that much more comforting and assuring knowing that he would be in great hands. If I ever had another child I would bring my child there no questions asked. I highly recommend.”

“3 of my kids go here and i like that its a smaller facility, my kids and i LOVEEE miss Rae!!!! Shes very friendly and is probably one of the few teachers there who actually care for the kids. I love the curriculum for infants and toddlers

Now my dislikes,

Sometimes nobody greets me when I come into the facility or to the classrooms, which is kind of frustrating coming from someone who I’m trusting to watch my children. I also would like for more photos to be taken of my children throughout the day (This is a personal preference)”

“My husband and I cannot say enough great things about Over The Rainbow! We started with our oldest in 2022 and the center has been a wonderful place for both our daughters to grow and learn. They love their teachers and get to experience amazing adventures as well as learning, playing, and having fun with all their friends. The staff is very supportive of all our children’s needs and take such great care of them, truly caring for them and making their days so fun and fulfilling. We look forward to the next stages of growth for our girls and couldn’t be more grateful for the care that Over The Rainbow provides our family!”

“Imagine Nation is a learning. Center and children's museum. There are three levels and exhibits for kids from toddlers and up to elementary aged. There is a parking lot and street parking.

There were so many interactive and hands on play areas. They even had an animal exhibit. There is a water play, music, engineering, area (and more). My kids enjoyed it and we were there for a couple of hours. If you have kids, I highly recommend.”

“Where can I start....We switched our kids over to Bright & Early a year or so ago, never looked back. We love this early childhood center. Everyone is amazing. The director Kaitlyn and assistant director Jenn are truly special people. They go above and beyond for the families that are enrolled at the center. If every an issue arises, Miss Kaitlyn and Miss Jenn handle with wonderful professionalism and care. They are truly wonderful. I can't say enough wonderful things about them! The team they have at Bright & early are just as wonderful. Dropping your child off with anyone is hard and weighs heaving on a parent's heart, but this team ensures your worries are at ease. Just a wonderful place!!!”

“We joined the Quaker Lane family this school year for their 3 day program. I can't say enough good things about this program and the wonderful families we have met. We are honestly sad that our son only has one year here before Kindergarten. They are caring and communicative, I really feel like my son is learning and having fun. There are lots of little events and fundraisers you can get involved in but no pressure to do so if you don't have the time. If you are looking for a pre school or new to the area and realizing how many there are - Quaker Lane really stands out!”

“My daughter attended all six weeks of camp this summer and loved every minute of it! The variety of programs and fantastic staff made this one of her all time favorite camps. “This program should only have 5-stars review! The 1 star review from years ago is incredbly misleading to a family looking into this program. This program is the BEST KEPT SECRET in Newington. The teachers are incredible and the sense of community is something so special.

We joined this program without knowing what to expect, and based off of incredible facebook reviews from moms and wow was it amazing. The program surpassed what we were told.

My son goes 3-half days a week and this is our experience:

There is a curricula-based lesson daily, craft to follow, centers, story time, free play, community events like singing for the tree lighting and a firetruck visit, valentines day prom/party and a field trip, among more.

Jessica the coordinator, Ms. Janet/Christina/Milli have created a forever love for school for my 3 year old which I am incredibly grateful for.

The app with daily photos and direct communication brings ease to parents that need it. The flexible pickup and drop off hours takes a weight off of parents who may be running late because of other younger siblings at home.

My only regret was not being able to send him 5 full days a week with what they get out of this program. I am so grateful for this program and cannot wait for my next 2 to attend.
